Sounds like contact calls. If you are still in the house when the bird is doing this you can call back with something acceptable. A whistle or a word. It well take a while habits are hard to break for people and just as hard for parrots. You have to come up with a plan and stick to it for months. Try different toys and try hanging them on the outside of the cage. Try foot toys and keep the crate clean no clue why some bird pick on their poop but they do. Oh and it may sound silly but play with the birds toys. But don't let them play too. Keep doing this till your bird is so intent on the toys she can't stand it then put her in the cage with the toy. I do have a couple that are not very good at playing in their cages. I have found that smaller toys seem to get their interest better then the toys meant for them. I do not have a screamer except Joey he joins the dogs barking when I leave for work but stops when they do. So not a problem.

Ya she was picking out the carrets then moved to the corn then the pasta. lol She eats in order.

Sorry no idea. I know with red feather on the grey areas that they sometimes don't come back that color when they molt.

You know my grey did not "choose" me. lol She was the only one and I fell for her when she cooed at me and have not looked back since. One well come along that is just right for you. I would not give up on looking for a different place sounds like that pet shop is all about making money as fast as they can and not about the birds. That may not be true but it is just the feeling I am getting from your post.

Yes this is true but this is the pair I got 4 babies off of last year and would had 8 more if the incubator had not of lost power for 12 hours. However this year I want them to raise their own babies. Raising day ones is just to stressful for me.

Lucy you. Ill know by the end of the week if I have any. I have one good egg in the box but I think the baby is not attached. Well just have to wait and see. But at least they are making good eggs now and I know the next clutch should do well.
