Joe, keep us informed on what you find out or is going on with your baby, we are concerned for your little one and don't want you to lose it. Keep in touch, please.
I'm glad I am not the only one who didn't want to leave them when they are so young.
Dan, you crack me up, you can tease me anytime and who knows I may return the favor.:woohoo:
You should only spend what time you can continue to spend for the rest of his life, if you lavish too much at first he will come to expect it and you will have problems.
I was told when I got my grey that you should not leave it for at least a year or so to set up the bond between you. So there was never a whole day go by that I did not see her and be with her. Maybe others will have a different take on that.
Welcome to the forum, Dayosmom, we feel like we already know you, wonder why. Your hubby is Dan now what can we call you besides Dayosmom? I like to add the personal touch to my posts. We learn a lot from each other here and a husband and wife team is great. Looking forward to hearing more from you two.
Thanks Heather for staying on top of this, it is a shame that people have to be that way, but visit every chance you get so they will keep it clean. I have one karma left today and you get it. Keep up the good work and keep us updated on this situation.
I personally get mine from parrot-fever.com but I get a discount from them because we both belong to the same bird club. Just do an internet search to find the best price, but take in consideration the shipping charges too, they vary. Good hunting, Ma12cus504.
Very good pitures, Imran, and he is definitely more than 2 years old from the yellow of the iris. I know you are so pleased with him and good job on the seeds, hiding them under the less desirable food for now.
Try to get another shot of the seeds, more in focus so we can tell what those are, maybe a sunflower seed, I have seen almost white ones.
Thats right Geoff, it all comes out in the wash, I have a bunch of T-shirts that are birdy shirts and they are chewed up, that I wear for everday. Most people don't understand but you have to love your bird and anyways it does not stink like the doggy stuff, whew that would not be pleasant.:pinch:
You put that so eloquently CD, I couldn't have said it better, you wont have any problem out of me, I love it here and the people here are the best people I have met in my lifetime and believe you me I have had more lifetime than probably anybody here. That is one reason we have the pm system is to clear the air privately and not in the forum itself.
RESPECT, yes respect yourself and everyone here and we will have no problem. I know I feel priviledged to be here with all of you.
Thank you CD for this message, we needed to hear this at this point in time.
CD is right, I meant no harm, just a joke between friends, Beccy, I think a lot of you and would never want to hurt your feelings. If you get to know me better you will find out I love to kid around so feel you are special if I kid you a bit.
Have you always been a Brit?
I'm so sorry Lidia, about losing Isaac but it is good to remember him even if it was a short life, CD goes thru the same thing with Hercules. Know that we feel for you and share your pain. Please post that photo of him so we can see what a beauty you had.
Sometimes there is nothing else you can do but know I am crying myself right now for you and everyone else is too when they read your story, thank you for sharing your pain, sometimes it helps to spread it around for us to share with you. Love your Joshua now and looking forward to seeing that pic of Isaac.
I don't see why not, just don't get any into the nares if you can help it, but a bath is fine and helpful, in their natural habitat they would be getting a daily rain shower, so wash away.
