1. Tracy is doing an excellent job with the bird food room, she is well suited for that position.
2. This is great news, Joe, and thanks for letting us know it went well and she is in recovery. Whenever a loved one goes under it is scarey for the ones who wait for news but the news is great, now some of the pressure is off and you can relax a little. Give her my best wishes for a quick recovery and keep us informed of Jo Jo's progress, for we love both of you kind and caring people.
3. Nikko, the grey shredder, and we should have known that, just look at the front page and you will see where she has made that hole in the funny pages.:laugh:
4. A yearly fee for a bird forum, no way, you get all of us for free, now thats a deal and you won't find a better bunch of people than right here. Sorry, Tracy, I got off topic, I know, now lets get back to Harrisons pellets.
5. Thanks for the update, Pompous, I am glad Kenworth is doing better, the added out of cage time helps him I'm sure. They need to be included in their flock's activities and that may solve the plucking problem. Good job, sounds like eating and playing is going well too, so keep up the good work and keep us informed, we care about him and you. BTW, just ignore the profanity, in time he will use it less and less, especially if he no longer hears those words.
6. Josh has a real good head on his shoulders and has a keen sense of humor I love.

Post edited by: judygram, at: 2007/08/29 20:17
7. We wouldn't want to harm a hair on that pretty little head of yours Josh, you are too darn cute to mess with, if you have something to say, just say it, we will understand won't we girls.:whistle: I'm all bark and no bite, I swear it.
8. Thanks for the update, Nikki, glad to hear it is going better for you and Roxy, and get us a picture if you can, we would love to see Roxy, I know that is her in your avatar but its hard to see her in such a small photo.
9. I know Josh, the EMS are the Saviors, how about that? Back to the topic, I think we have some good opinions here on whether or not to cover the cage and whatever works is best.
10. But you put your foot in your mouth this time didn't you Dan, and that is why men are the way they are, they move their mouth before they think. I wish I had said that sooner.
11. I love your little photo you added, Dan, how appropriate.:laugh:
12. He will probably have the luck to order those nuts and Dayo won't eat them, now that would be something wouldn't it, all that trouble and expense of getting those palm nuts, then out with the garbage.:ohmy:

Post edited by: judygram, at: 2007/08/29 21:46
13. Darn, now I want to go to Paris, never been there. I vote with Mark, Paris and Venice are the love cities, and it is where I would go if in your shoes. Very lovely excerpt there Joe, and yes it could be about many things, but it is of love, pure and simple, thanks for sharing that with us.
14. Melissa is a whiz with photoshop, she makes those amazing banners.B)

fruit pot!

Well why don't you send me some Dan, I would love to know how cactus fruit jam tastes. We don't have any of those kind of cactus plants here in VA, guess it is too cold a winter here for them. Thanks for the recipe, Tracy, even though I cannot make it for I do not have any of those plants.
16. No please go on Tracy, I love it. Thanks for the laughs. {Feel-good-0002006E}
17. I'm not even gonna dignify that with an answer, we know better don't we girls. And you sure are lurking in our thread a lot aren't you Dan?
18. Yeah we love the wolf whistle, especially from the birds, not so much from the men, depends on the situation it is used in. And it is hard to put into words to describe it, but women know it when they hear it.:laugh: :whistle:
19. You are correct, you don't want to push but you don't want him ruling the roost either, so let him settle in and then you can gain his trust and maybe he will allow more hands on action. Don't pull away from his bites, or he will find that you go away when he does that and he will continue to do it for the reaction it gets him. A mature grey is very independent and it may take some time for him to learn to trust you since he has already had several homes, but patience is the key. I am glad that it is going well for now and hope it keeps up in the future. Thanks for updating this for us and keep us informed as to how he progresses in his relationship with you. We would love to see a photo of him if you can manage that, we love pictures of greys.
20. Just a little off topic here, Josh in your signature you put that the EMS are the forgotton, not in my book, you are every bit as needed as the others you mentioned, now we will just have to come up with a word to describe your profession like the others have. To cover or not to cover, that is the question, and there is no right or wrong, whatever works for your individual bird is right, period.
21. Hello Jasmine, sorry you have a rodent problem but the others before me has given you some good advice. Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room, and let us know a little more about yourself and this new grey you are getting. If you have pictures of your baby please post them also.
22. Josh is the sweetest, cutest of the youngest hunks on this bird forum. {Love-000200DA}
23. Oh you really want to open a can of worms don't you Dan? Well you better watch out, the gloves are off now. Josh, I find no fault with you, you cute things you, but you have to admit that there are some good specimens I speak of, but you are not one of them, thank goodness, unless you start up with the women bashing and then remember I warned you.
24. Well like I said in a previous post, I am thinking of her and hoping it goes well and fast tomorrow and she is back home before we know it. I'm sure she is going to do fine and take your laptop and show her the messages here, you have friends here so she has friends here too. We are like family here and we care about each and every one of the members here on this forum. She is such a sweet looking girl and I know you are proud of her and we are pulling for a quick operation and quicker recovery. We have to get you back to making those playstands.
