SFsailor, all I can say is you have a choice to make and that is whether you want to continue to put your grey at risk by allowing her to fly around outside untethered or put her on a harness for mark my words, the day will come if you continue to do as you say you do, you will lose her forever, your luck is going to run out and my heart will bleed for your grey but not for you:angry:

I would still be very careful of using it around your birds as they are much more sensitive to smoke, smells and vapors. Thats great that you are making an effort to quit smoking, your birds will be forever grateful if you can and you will be so much healthier for it too.

You don't really have anything to worry about, usually pet greys will not breed, they need the right conditions according to what I have read and heard from the other members here who have breeding greys. They are either pets or breeder birds but not both, so enjoy your pair and glad to hear they get along well with each other.

Thats so funny, she should have used better judgment having a grey around for the shenigans, but if I had been the man I would have found a way to keep my bird, eventually he would have stopped saying the man's name or at least used it less frequently. I wouldn't give up my baby over something like that as I love her too much. Thanks Shanlung for sharing that with us.

Coco just needed some time to adjust to his new cage, greys are very cautious of new things but hunger and thirst brought him around.

That was so cute of him dancing to the music, he's got the beat all right, thanks for sharing that with us.

Greys are awesome creatures as you will find out, I am not sure about the similiar diet to the eclectus but I would imagine it is close and you certainly came to the right place to find out all you can about the grey. About the karma, you can give another karma every 6 hours and we like to give good karma and not take away karma for if we have a problem with another member we prefer to discuss it privately in the pm system as no one likes to lose karma.

You just now finding that out Tracy, Dave is so nuts he's sane believe it or not but he does know his greys and he has provided us with some invaluable information and I am forever grateful to him for that. Ok Sameera, I'll take a slice of that cake too if you don't mind:laugh:

How someone could do that to this bird is appalling, some people can be so cruel but glad to see that it has a new beak now and able to eat, thanks for sharing that link with us Pchela.

Millie is so sweet in this video and she has grown so much and she obviously loves her Mum, thanks for sharing that with us and you did an excellent job with it. B)

Bella is adorable, simply gorgeous baby grey, they are so precious when they are at that age, I just want to grab it up and squeeze it's soft little body, thanks for sharing that pic with us.

May I suggest you try to get a couple of her outside the cage so we can see her better, but I look forward to seeing more photos.B)
