1. I don't know the answer to that question, maybe Abby is the only one who knows why she does that but at least you got to hear her talk. My sun conure does that head bobbing all the time:laugh:
2. Well Kevin finally figured it out and thanks for the pictures of Dorian, he is sure a looker. Lyn I think that is a rabbit there in the picture and not a chipmunk.
3. I recommend the same books as the others have mentioned and the subscription to Bird Talk is a must have, I look forward to that every month, it has great pictures along with excellent articles.
4. Debandbella wrote: To me that says it all, you have been thru enough already, its time to wash your hands of him, he will always beg and plead for your forgiveness but you have wasted enough of your time with him, you deserve better and there is another man out there who will treat you better than this man ever will in my opinion. Sorry to be so blunt but the truth sometimes hurts.
5. In my opinion if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, smells like a duck then it must be a duck which means that if he is still addicted and you have gone thru 2 years of hell then he is still trying to pull the wool over your eyes. If I were you two years is enough, its time to move on.
6. You must not be doing something right Jules, Josey always gives me a kiss when I ask and has never gone for my eye, never say never.
7. Greys just seem to want to go for the glasses any chance they get but you found a way to part Willow from the glasses, way to go. Don't worry "the wife rolling her eyes" she was just jealous she wasn't getting the kisses, lol:laugh:
8. Willow looks great in flight and of course all those feathers have to go back in place afterwards, heaven help any of them would be untidy, thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
9. Happy Hatchday Willis, may you have so many more.
10. LMAO at this one Lyn, boy a picture would have been priceless but thanks for sharing that story, it will make me laugh all day. {Feel-good-0002006E}{Feel-good-0002006E}{Feel-good-0002006E}

Post edited by: judygram, at: 2010/01/19 13:32
11. What a wonderful video and I am so glad you found it Dan, shame on you Lyn for not sharing it with us sooner, just kidding Lyn. You have quite a voice so I want to hear more and that Alfie wasn't going to be left out even if he was speechless, maybe next time.
12. Aren't they absolutely adorable, very gorgeous, I love that blue coloring, too bad they are rare but thanks Jay for sharing the pictures and thank you Dan for the info. My gosh I can't wait to see what next week brings.

Tully

I'll just bet in a years time or less Tully will be a different looking bird, fully feathered and spoiled rotten like the other three you have Caroline. I am so proud that you could take Tully in and give him a good forever home and hope all his tests come back that he is just fine. Thanks for sharing a couple of pics with us.
17. I think you are both blessed to have one another.
18. You have lovely birds, I have never had a quaker but know a lot of people adore them, thanks for sharing some pictures of your flock with us.
19. Most greys will get somewhat grouchy when they are molting, those pins are uncomfortable but those frequent showers will help and soon it will be over with, glad to hear he was in a good mood today and things will improve real soon.
20. Penny, Penny, Penny, I am not trying to derail those who are trying to lose weight, you know as well as I do that I am one of those who need to lose some but a lot of women do think they have to be super skinny to be beautiful and most women look better with a little curve to the body. The word "diet" should be banned from the english language for like Penny said it is a behavior modification and not a diet, diets only make you gain weight.
21. Poor Dave, they say the mind is the first thing to go. There are a lot of members here on this forum and Dave has helped many of them, it is hard for us older citizens to keep things straight and to remember everyone's problems so forgive us if we don't recall all the details. Dave have you checked out the scooters now that are available, I love mine.
22. Christina if your too is otherwise ok, eating and playing normally then its nothing to be worried about, you just have a too that suffers from motion sickness.
23. Bernie is right about one thing, women do obsess about their weight and most of it is to blame on magazines and tv ads with women who are so slim they have to starve themselves to look that way. Some of us women will never look anything like them even if we lost lots of weight because it depends on our individual bone structure but many of us including men are overweight and have health problems that result from that.
24. Hello Tom and welcome to our family, we are so glad to hear you made the leap to owning a grey, aren't they the most awesome creatures. Be sure to read thru the many threads here for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can. I look forward to seeing some pictures of Ollie when you get the chance.
