Yep, when you get two strong willed individuals together the fur flies and usually someone loses so ease up Jill and Harvey may lighten up too.

There is probably truth to both sides, it just depends on the individual bird, height doesn't make much difference to Josey but to some it would. She will step up for me even if she is higher than me.

I agree with Dan, it does sound like a good diet for a grey and I have to agree about the cheese part, Josey will do anything for a piece of cheddar cheese.

Yes mix the seeds with the finely chopped vegetables and such but be aware that anything with moisture in it will turn sour in a couple of hours so it should be replaced with fresh.

That was real sweet of you to send Will a copy of what everyone said about him and his thanks are not necessary for it is us that are the grateful ones and maybe someday it will be "Hi" instead of "bang" but until then we do what we have to, stay safe.

His photos show him to be the picture of health but a scale will help to assure you that he stays around the same weight, a loss would indicate he is sick and the sooner you catch that the better off he will be, they are masters of concealing signs of illness.

Josey loves beans most any kind and yes Jill the ice cube tray method works well to make individual portions, just pop them out after frozen and put in a freezer safe bag and then just get out what you need. You can use most any bean but vary it and use different ones so it doesn't become boring to them.

My husband grows a big garden and he gives most of it away to family and co-workers. It is a lot of hard work but he enjoys it and the produce is better than any you find in a grocery store. I know a lot of people don't have the space to grow their own vegetables and nowadays you have to have a high fence around the garden to keep the deer out or they will eat it all down to nothing. Nothing tastes better than a homegrown vegetable, when those tomatoes and corn come in I am in heaven and you wouldn't believe how many squash you get from just a few plants, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Congrats on finding out you only have one female in the bunch with only one name change, looks like you named them correctly and Cleo easily transfers into Leo.
