I agree Samantha, I never go on Craigslist but it doens't surprise me what people will offer for sale, some people shouldn't have pets just like some people shouldn't have children, its sad.

My grey will do just about anything for a sliver of cheddar cheese, try that but you will just have to offer a variety of foods to find out what he likes the most.

Jay is right on the money about our mouths, we have too much bacteria that could kill them so from now on please do not allow him to get inside your mouth, if he continues to want to "preen" some part of your face then you might be better off adhering to the no shoulder policy, some are just too inquisitive of the face. -
Dave007 or Spinner would be your best bet for they are both breeders of greys.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to keep a list handy until you know them by heart like most of us do. Keep us informed, I am sure he is going to be fine though.

Maybe one piece won't bother him but you could call your avian vet and ask but frankly I don't know why raw potato is harmful I just know that it is.

I have to agree with you Jay and it should never be that you could give yourself one, it is meaningless if that is the case. I guess we were so used to having the karma feature that it is hard to get used to something different. And some people who should have them don't, exactly.

Thanks Dave, I love watching the babies on the live cam and I guess Camilla was only doing what comes naturally and that is protecting her babies but it comes with the territory.
