  1. Gosh I almost missed this one, thanks for the laugh Spock, now go to bed!
  2. That is interesting, thanks for sharing it with us.
  3. Gosh Caroline, what do you expect out of four greys, some of us have a larf out of just one grey but yours are a hoot, would love to be a fly on the wall sometime to experience it.
  4. Josey has flight feathers on both sides that almost reach the end of her tail, I hope it won't be long now.
  5. I have faith that you will be reunited with Bobby so keep at it, she is near, I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers to keep her safe until she is home.
  6. Thanks for the update on all your fids Caroline, so glad to hear that all of them are well and doing fine and you have worked some wonders with Tully, you truly are an amazing woman and it is no small feat to take care of four demanding greys, maybe we should call you Superwoman! I look forward to seeing some pictures of the "gang" when you get a chance.
  7. 2 hours, 52 minutes to be exact Stephen, that was awesome to watch and it was so lifelike when finished, thanks for sharing that with us.
  8. Rocky IS a good and decent bird, you need to allow him more time to settle in and feel comfortable. He needs to be handled by both you and your wife, he may prefer you at the moment but he should develop a relationship with her too for she may have to feed and take care of him in your absence and the best time is now while he is still young. You may have to take him into another room to work with him on interacting with both of you, they feel a little out of their element if they are in a room other than the one where their cage is like maybe the bedroom, he is more likely to allow her to hold out her arm and him step up on it. But one thing is for sure she has to get over this fear of Rocky for he picks up on this and it could cause some behavior problems. But please don't get rid of him for you will be denying yourself and your family the pleasure of owning and living with one of these magnificient creatures, you made the committment when bringing him home and he deserves no less than your best effort.
  9. Josey did do it for a while when she had a toy made with colored wood pieces, she would chew off some of it and dunk it in the water and it turned the water whatever color the wood was, I think she liked the color it made the water, she especially liked the purple.
  10. Those are some great pictures of Ecko, what a handsome fella he is, I adore the first one and am so jealous that Josey will not do that, thanks for sharing them with us Caitlin.
  11. Thats great to hear, I too like many of the others here am not crafty or clever and have to buy most of my bird's toys but I do find bargains from time to time and I give Josey some bottle caps and straws to play with as she loves them.
  12. Oh Tanya I would so love to see the babies for myself but do capture some pictures every day for they grow so fast, you are doing a great job so keep it up.
  13. He did seem to not be very happy about the camera in his face but he is a cutie, Josey does not bob her head too much but my sun conure does it a lot, I have no idea what it means, I guess only she knows for sure, thanks for sharing the video with us.
  14. Thats about one of the sweetest tribute to a grey I have ever read, you are so good at describing how Issac is such a big part of your life and you two have a wonderful relationship, may it never end and Happy Half Year Hatchday Issac, you lucky boy.
  15. I think Dave has about said it all, Dave is one of our most knowledgeable members on the subject of greys, he has pet and breeder greys and many many years of experience with them, we are very appreciative of his help and advice.
  16. The toys are always more fun to play with in Joey's cage, whats mine is mine and whats his is mine, thanks for sharing the pics with us.
  17. Hey she just wants to rearrange it to her liking besides she thinks she is doing you the favor but having you put them back inside the cage, she thinks its good exercise for you, thanks for sharing some pics of her, she is a beauty.
  18. Thats our Spock, he is one of the favorites on the forum and his one red tail feather tells it all doesn't it, hope he soon has a tail full of bright red feathers with no stress marks, thanks for sharing the pics with us.
  19. Jess that cage of Yoshis is exactly like Joseys except hers is green and didn't come with the divider, I love the cage.
  20. Josey does the same thing as Harvey, she will step up for me without me asking and if my hubby tries to get her if she goes to the floor then no way will she step up for him.
  21. You silly woman Jules but it could be the truth!
  22. Hello Ayaat, I think your grey is trying to play so don't be afraid of that as some others here would love for their grey to act that way. Does he have his beak open as if to deliver a bite when he does it? If so then he is trying to shoo her away but it is nothing to fear and certainly not something to get rid of the bird. Why don't you describe in more detail what is happening so we can help you with it?
  23. Yes you still look kinda rough but maybe a new vet might have some other ideas on how to help you, that my friend is logical, why don't you try that Spock.
  24. Hello Derek and welcome to our family, so glad you could join us and congrats on getting your first grey, such an exciting time for you. You are doing fine and others will be along soon to give you some advice but remember it takes time and patience but you will be well rewarded.
