Remember to keep trying the veggies even if he doesn't eat them right now, sometimes it takes a while so keep offering and yes they should have 3 bowls in their cage, one for veggies, one for pellets and one for seeds and nuts.

Yes I do like the pics, Georgie is adorable, she will be practicing her words and soon you will hear and understand what she says. It also looks like she may have chosen your boyfriend as her favorite but that doesn't rule you out completely, you will just have a slightly different relationship with her, a not uncommon one in a lot of households with greys. Thanks for sharing those pics with us, great update too.

I too have to echo what Dan said, it will be a long road to gaining Tesla's trust and it must be earned so be very patient and don't try to rush things, it will happen when he feels comfortable with it.

A nice bunch of toys and yes you could probably make them much cheaper that is if you are handy with a drill, the boing is an absolute must have for a grey, they enjoy playing on them, Georgia is one lucky fid it seems.

When you interact with Kaleah don't pet her down the back, under the wings or anywhere near the tail area as those are the areas of sexual arousal, when she starts the panting and drooping of the wings just say "thank you" and walk away. My grey is 4 years old too and she has displayed some of those same actions, not so much the regurgitating but the panting and drooping wings but it is only when I go to touch her, she will grab my finger and try to bring me closer to her. You don't want to encourage this behavior for it will only frustrate her and make her more aggressive. Just keep doing what you are doing and I think you are doing right to try to distract her with a toy or something else after you come back from a few minutes of ignoring her, they don't like to be ignored.

I hope you are getting a weaned baby grey and not handfeeding unless you have experience with it. Why don't you tell us more about you and how you came to get a grey?

Well of course she still loves Murphy, she understands that a grey sometimes picks a favorite out of a family but maybe in time he will not be so aggressive towards her, at least there is hope.

Yippee, Kopi is home and doing ok for now, yes he is much better off in his own home where his family can watch over him and give him the love he so deserves, we are all pulling for him to make a full recovery, bless him and bless you Dee, you have a heart of gold. Love that messy beak pic.

I would leave those treats alone since they are made for dogs and give Tesla fresh sweet potatoes, that is what I am doing as we just dug our yams this past Saturday and we got a bunch of large ones, two of them weighed in at over 10 pounds each, I have never seen such huge ones before so we are having them often.

They all love that game, throwing toys over the side to the floor then they look at them as if to say "come here and pick these up so I can do it all over again" but you gotta love it, thanks for sharing that with us.

Hello Don and welcome to our family, glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Tumnus. I have to disagree about the sun conure, I have one and she can be loud but she was the first parrot I have ever owned and I wouldn't trade her for anything, yes she can scream from time to time but its not that bad, guess you get used to it but she spends all her out of cage time on my shoulder keeping me company wherever I go. I would love to see some pictures of Tumnus if you would be so kind to share some with us.

Dee I am so saddened to hear that Kopi is ill, wow you have been thru the wringer but I hold good thoughts that Kopi will pull thru and be just fine, no one could have a more caring and compassionate mommy than Kopi, please keep us informed.
