So sorry Paul but the world is full of those kind of people, don't let that drag you down though for you will get Murphy back real soon, you will get the call that will be the lead you are waiting for so in the meantime you have to field the sickos of the world who have nothing better to do than play with your emotions for their own enjoyment, remember they will get their comeuppantance one day. Keep up the good work and follow those leads and Murphy will be back in his daddy's loving hands soon, keep the faith Paul and we are all praying for his safe return.

I have a similar cage for Josey my grey, the only difference is it does not have that divider in it but I love it as it has a play area that is not on the highest part of the cage, it is a good size for a grey as you would not want any smaller. If it is used be sure to clean and disinfect it thoroughly before using it.

I have seen a portion of that before about how we feel about our animals and it is so true and applies to our fids also, it always brings a smile to my face when I see it, thanks for sharing the whole thing with us.

I have a tiel and she does not talk but they are capable of talking, my tiel will fly around for a bit then settle down near me to keep me company. Loved the video of Peugeot, the lucky little tiel and a young one being from this year's hatch.

Hello CeeCee and welcome to our family, so glad to hear you are going to commit to either a grey or an amazon, both are amazing creatures. Its a myth that only females bond with males and vice versa, I have a female that is bonded to me, it just depends on the individual bird and the personality and you will hear conflicting stories because each bird is an individual in itself. If you think you can handle an adult bird and whatever baggage it brings with it then by all means look into rescues and rehomed birds, many of them make excellent companions but many times they have come from questionable circumstances and if you have the time and patience to work with a difficult bird then it can be one of the most enjoyable things you will ever attempt. If you decide to go with a baby then look for reputable breeders rather than pet stores for you never know what they may have been exposed to and what kind of treatment they may have received, usually breeders are more concerned about their babies and socialize them into family oriented situations. If you want to look for breeders by state you can go to this site: www.avianbiotech.com Please read thru as many of the threads here for lots of ideas and suggestions from firsthand experience with greys, it will give you an insight into what you will be getting into and be sure to check out the amazon room.

Albert looks like a real sweetheart and wants to be with you all the time, no different from most any other grey and I think he already has you wrapped around his little talon. Be sure to have pellets and other foods in his cage at all times for they tend to snack all day long instead of eating in meals. Thanks for sharing those pics with us, a handsome fella.
