  5. YES! It is too young. Don't buy it, wait until it is older and fully weaned. It's chances of survival if you are not experienced in hand feeding them is much smaller. I wouldn't trust anything that breeder says either. But is sounds like that poor baby needs to be rescued by an experienced person.
  6. OMG! Is all I could say today when I logged on and saw that our "JUDYGRAM" had posted 10000 posts!!! Judy, is our most popular member and biggest poster! She is the FIRST member to reach 10000 posts in this forum. She has done what no member here has ever done before. And she did it in just over 10 months of joining this family. What an amazing feat!! We all know how much time Judy puts in here, maybe now she'll give her fingers a well deserved break and let someone else post for a bit! :laugh: :laugh: We all know Judy is the first to help everyone out with advice as quickly as possible, and we here on the admin and moderator team have come to rely on her always being here to help. 10. Yes, enjoy the cuddles as long as you can! I wish Talon was still cuddly, but at 2 1/2 she's too independent for that stuff, but she loves to be with us, so that's nice too!!
  11. Hi Amber and Welcome! I look forward to hearing more from you!! :)

  15. Hello and Welcome to our family. I agree, you are getting some bad advice. He needs to go to the vet, and NEVER use a dog/cat supplement on a bird. you need to find an avian vet before you try any home remedies. Please keep us posted, we care.
  16. Talon

    Brainwave!

    I use a basket with a handle on top as a perch. I have a 10lb wight in it, lined wit paper towels. In the am, as soon as I take her out of her cage, I put her on her "potty basket" and she goes there. Just a thought for you to try. B)
  17. Yes, the others give goo advice. Ignore the bad behavior and reward the good is the only way to change bad habits. it does take a long time, but it can be done.
  18. Yes, I agree. letting them stay out of their cage as much as possible is ideal. But you do need to stop reinforcing the behavior that lets him get his own way. He is training you, it should be the other way around. Perhaps leaving the tv on or radio would help him stay in his cage when you are not home. Talon does get upset if she is in her cage when I am home, but doesn't mind it when I leave.
  19. Perhaps I should rename this thread.......The Judy & Dan Show!! {Feel-good-0002006E}
  20. Happy Easter to everyone here! My Easter Bunny came for an early visit, so I'm happy!! {Nature-000200C9} {Holidays-000200CA}
  21. WOW! I was gonna post here, but this is too much information for me to handle. :pinch: :sick: :sick: Anyways, Talon loves to walk around on the floor, but only if I get down there with her so she feels safe. I have a cat and a dog that I don't trust. (they like to play alot) So I limit her floor time, but she gets lots of time to walk around the furniture, and my bed!
  22. OMG!!!! Dan, I'm going to get you for that!!!!!! {Characters-00020061}
