Judy, that is wonderful news!!! I have been getting up every morning at 5 am to go to the gym and work out and run. I spend an hour and a half there. But, I am so excited, it's finally warm enough for me to run outside in the am tomorrow! I can't wait!! I am so sick of being a hamster on a wheel. Plus since I moved, it will be a new scenic route for me. :woohoo:
OMG! I can't imagine how scary that must be for them Mark. I never ever thought about the experience that must have when that happens. It's bad enough we humans have to endure it.
yvette, I have had the very same thing happen at night when I was sound asleep twice. I immediately took Talon out of her cage, and comforted her. But after each episode, it took about 3-4 nights of her not wanting to go back in her cage to sleep. I now leave her sheet open on the ends so she can have some light in there.
I have the exact same cage, different brand though. It ended up being Talon's sleep cage. I have strung many rope perches and toys from the top. She does use it while I am working at my computer in my bedroom.
Hello and Welcome! Yes, as the others have stated, your cage should be in the room where you will be the most! B) I look forward to hearing more from you!
Yes, I have had the same problems with Talon as well. You have to just be firm, and tell them, NO, or Stay, and always be consistent. It will take time and patience, but they will understand eventually. B)
That is wonderful news! Wow, you have made such great progress. Keep it up, so he doesn't forget. You are building trust every time you do that. Keep us updated!!
I think it's a wonderful cause. Melissa still has at least 15 inches of hair left!! She had very long hair!
I'm very proud of her decision to help others. I have many girls at my Dance Studio that have donated as well.
Yes, I would like to see the contest run in the near future, with the 20, and finish up the contest with the 10 first. SO we have 2 separate contests at different times.
WOW! This is excellent information Dan! This took a lot of time on your part, and I thank you for all our members here. This is so helpful. I am looking forward to reading part two! B)
Tracy, Thank you for posting this. I am anxious to try it on Talon, and myself!!
Does anyone know anything about buying frozen fruit? I haven't noticed it in the stores. Of course I guess you have to look first.
Okay, time for things to cool off here. I am locking this thread for the time being. Let's all go post about our greys, and stop this back and forth banter.
