  1. Timber won't step up on my fingers, always on my forearm. Like you, I can't say "step up" for reasons I don't know but something in his past I'm sure, which is probably why he won't have anything to do with stepping up on my hand. I say "wanna go" and that works for us.
  2. Neat pic! Timber will do that too. Sometimes I wonder how long he would REALLY sit there. My hand gets tired!
  3. Good for Jake! Timber is holding at about 276, which I am going to assume is his "normal" weight.
  4. Those old TV's were built to last. I live in a house built in 1915, so I know exactly what you mean. Gotta love the floors and the woodwork though! You can still see the knobs from the old wiring all over the attic. Yes, I remember all the McDonald's characters. Anyone still have their 8-tracks and 8-track player?
  5. That sounds just awful! Sure glad everyone is OK.
  6. LOL People who didn't live before the first game systems would never understand the appeal of pong... on a black and white tv no less!
  7. LOL to the "give blood today!" Been there, done that. That is definitely a don't mess with the cookie stink eye in the pic!
  8. Yes he is and you are blessed that he loves the camera. I've tried to video Timber several times and it is like he knows what I'm doing. He turns his back or clams up!
  9. That's great news, thanks for sharing!
  10. One up on ya Dawl... remember Pong??
  11. I'll bet Pippin was terrified. She will be a different bird in a few days. There is nothing like having a grey though... enjoy the ride!
  12. Loved it! What a sweetheart
  13. Woohoo! So glad to hear Bubba got a clean bill of health and really enjoyed the video
  14. Gilbert is so lucky to have you Lulu! Timber has a fascination with the tray on his cage as well. I'm assuming that because the grate prevents him from getting to it when he is in the cage, he feels he must check it out when he is out!
  15. How exciting! And what a pretty boy Darwin is. Timber, my TAG, clicks when he wants attention, wants to communicate etc. I think of that as his "here I am" sound. I leave the TV on animal planet for him when I am gone during the day. Not sure he appreciates it, but there it is
  16. Haaa to the "dunking." Timber is a dunker. Sometimes he dips and eats, sometimes it seems he just throws it in there to see what happens. Normal behavior from what I've seen. Chico may actually eat some of what he has dunked, then again he may not! Sorry this isn't really an answer, but that's all I know!
  17. Welcome to you and Dorothy. What a great Christmas present
