Sorry I don't know about the tree or the roots,lol. In fact I am sitting here waiting for a lawn company to come and cut my grass and rose bushes. Didn't even know these bushes were roses.lol

I dint want to pay that much either. But I can't make anything myself and I am not married so no help. I started to buy just the table top one for $129 but i would have needed a table to set it on. I didnt see the perches until after I purchased the tree. They are nice inside and on top of the cage but I am trying to have a place for her away from the cage.

Lol, I would not try that. But I am sure you could make something using the branches that they sell. The ones that you attach on top or inside the cage has like 3-4 branches coming off it. I am sure once you see it you will be able to make something or add on using this. But please dont try bringing anything back, remember Ellie needs you,lol.

To my surprise customers were fighting over the last tree after I got mine. Today I went in to visit with my daughters bab sun conure, and the have two more java trees. I hope they don't have another fight. The owner said before they were not able to sell them but now people are really wanting them. They also come table top and they have the branches you can attach to the top or inside of the cage.

This java tree is made by A&E Cage Company. States it is Java Wood, I do see something about them making products from non-productive coffee trees. Sorry that the best I could come up with.

Oh ok, let me look at the tag on the tree to see if it has another name. And lol at you about shocking that you were wrong. I try to learn from everyone who already has a fid. I did have a TAG ten years ago however I did not research before nor was a part of a group that had the love of birds in common. I value the info from everyone.

My local pet shop ordered it for me so I didn't get charged for the shipping like I did with the cage. You can find it online at birdscomfort. It is beautiful, so I am truly hoping that is safe for Nala and that she likes it. The breeder puts her on a table top like this and also a metal play stand. She said she tries to get her birds introduced to different toys, perches and play stands. Please give me feedback before I bring Nala home if this tree is not good for her. Thanks

Kimijean looks as if we have something else in common. The men I meet look at me like I am crazy when I talked of having a bird. One even told me birds are nasty. Funny I thought he was the nasty one. Well I had to give my birds up after my divorce ten years ago, that wont happen again.

That is nice. I wish I had someone to help me with that kind of stuff. I have to buy everything for my baby. Which is not easy either, being a single mom of three(and one is in college), I am lucky to be able to get the bird and cage. So if anyone knows of any easy and I do mean easy do it yourself things I could try to make let me know please. Aerial I am sure Marco is going to enjoy the swing, can't wait too see the play stand.

I am so sorry to hear this. I too am attached to my baby CAG so I know that picking out a new bird does not make up for the lose of Nova. I thought that most pet stores did not allow others to hold a bird once a deposit is put on that bird. I am so sorry and angry that this has happened to you and Nova.

Thank you for the feed back, and don't worry as much as I want her home I would not dare try until she is ready. I want what is best for her, I can look at her empty cage as long as it takes her if that is what it takes to have a happy healthy fid. just wanted to make sure that this was normal.

Well it seems I will have to wait a few more weeks before I can bring my baby girl home. The breeder says she is still on two feedings a day and is still very excited to be fed. I thought she was going to come home next weekend. This seems to be taking a while compared to others I see weaned at three months. My baby was hatched on 11/13/11. Is this ok or should I be concerned?
