The cage really looks big but you guys told me big is good, the size is 40x30x75. Oh my daughter has fallen in love with a baby sun conure soooo it looks as if I'm going to have a grandfid,lol.

Hi all, I had my weekly visit with my baby over the weekend, I love my fid. He/she has learned how to get what she wants(a head scratch from mom), too cute how she put her head down and started messing with my fingers too let me know. Well I know I am in trouble because I can't stop shopping for my new baby. My children, 18 and 15 put the cage together and I found a Java tree in the pet store. What else do I need? Here are the new pictures of my baby.

Thank you I will keep looking. I didnt want to admitt that I really can't afford the expensive trees but I do want her to have a nice place out of the cage. I did buy the largest cage I could afford which is 40x30x73(60" inside height). Does it matter what kind of toys for a 4 to 4.5 month old. Sales lady said not to get much it may overwhelm the new baby?

I was looking at the ones on eBay. Sorry to say I returned the table top due to broken branches. So I am still looking. I am trying to be mindful of the cost but I would like for her to have a place outside of the cage.

Thank you all. Breeder says she should be ready maybe middle of March. I am super excited! I must be honest and tell you guys I look at your pictures and comments and say to myself I hope that I will be a great mom(parent) like some of you. I want this baby to have a forever home with me. The cage will be delieverd tomorrow! The bad news is I have to put it together. But I know when I get it I'm one step closer to having her home. For some reason my coworkers don't get it. I guess that's why I look forward to this site.

Thank you. I got a table top Java Wood one today. I thought that I didn't want a table top until I saw this in the store today. Plus it was $99 and I didn't have to order it and have it shipped. I love and I hope my baby will too.

Please help. Ever time I find a cage it is out of stock. Is 40x30 with 1 inch bar spacing too large for a CAG?

Thank you both for welcoming us. Once I learn how to post pictures I will be happy to share. Oh and by he way I think I messed up and bought a cage that may be too small 30" x 22" x 64" with 3/4" bar spacing. I just read your reply about the cage being large enough. Guess I got too excited.

Hello Everyone, I won't be brinning my baby CAG home for another 4 weeks. I am looking for a cage, toys and a play stand for my new baby. Oh and a name,lol. I welcome all suggestions. I owned a CAG in the past(10 years ago), but I currently have no fids. I am super excited right now, I visit my baby every Saturday. I am looking forward to meeting friends up here that I can share my love of greys with. I welcome all advice. Oh please help me find a name and cage,lol.
