Lol. (chain) We got the coconut for her tonight and her own cell phone. She loved the play phone. Pat acted like he was talking on it, set it down and there she was, right on it. Didn't take her long to figure out it wasn't real!

That is so sweet!

We have tried the stand with the lock down bowls, unless we chain her to it though (totally kidding, would never do that) she is right in hubbys plate. We have done the her own plate of food thing, not good enough for her, must be in ours. We are going try the we eat method, then toward the end bring the fids out for their share, try and ease her in that way. I am so shocked Gabby hasn't said time out, no bite to me yet! I do this every time she bites. She has gotten so much better with me. She even let me pet her last night while Pat was in her sight, that is a big step as she normally would just bite me. After reading a thread about a bird showing signs of sexual arousal, we noted that is exactly how she acts with Pat, so he has stopped the full body pets and is just petting her head and neck right now to see if her dispostion changes any. Lol she does keep rolling onto her back for him to give belly rubs to her and he does slip sometimes cuz it is so darn cute! Baby steps and as long as she feels safe with Pat, i am happy.

Gabby is getting one so i hear, but me? No way! They built me a big outdoor flight room and i will gladly get in my carrier to go to it. I let no one touch my wings, they are off limits, just ask the guy that now has 9 fingers they call the vet. Gabby here, Bongo is trying to act all mean, he didn't bite anyones finger off. Gesh! He is a pussycat, i see how nice he is, always giving kisses. I have decided to talk now, today i called my dad Howard, his name is really Pat but i already know the name Howard so thats what i shall call him!

Lol, i am always saying to him, " Whats up, chicken butt"! One of Bubbas sounds he makes is a chicken, he'll do it and i tell Oliver that Bubbas calling him! He is my little chicken!

That corn would be way better than the bone in my hand she is trying to use to dull it! This little girl needs dinner manners! Any advice on how to do this would be welcome. We have to lock her in her cage when we eat and i hate it. We keep trying but she will pull all the food off the plate, then she tries to dump your drink then she starts picking up and pushing the plates off the table. Even Bongo tried to stop her!

Okay, the spraying of the butt stopped working. Good thing he likes baths, we filled the tub and put him in and he let Pat wipe his bum clean! Then he pooped in the tub, lol. Got him out and i kid you not, he pooped on and off for a good 15 minutes. Will do the bath again in the morning. He is getting his first visit from his previous owners tomorrow. I suggested they wait till his treatments were over so he wouldn't be over stressed but they didn't want to wait as his chemo starts again on Monday. I did let them know it couldn't be an all day thing. They can't get here till 1 or 2 and hubby is taking me out for a movie and dinner for my birthday! Pat got me that huge stand for the boys as my present, then he had to get me another one when Oliver started plucking Bubba lol. And today he finished the second aviary for me, okay its really for the fids but its what i asked for. Lol So Bongo and Gabby have their own and Bubba and Oliver have theirs! Too bad it started raining before we could get them out there.

Ah, great idea! We will try that for sure! : ( ,i had to join the " bite me club" tonight. Dang she can bite. Half my hand is covered in bandaids! I really don't think the damage would be bad as the pressure isn't strong as much as her beak is to a point!

Okay. Its official! I am out of places to put bandaids on my hands! I am joining this club and need to know where to buy the shirt! Tomorrow morning i plan on going in to face her looking like a goal player on a hockey team! Oh my God, she killed me today, and i was bragging on how good she has been!

Here are the guys yesterday. Bubba looks happy! But look at Oliver, been a while posting a photo of him! Look at all his little bumps on his body! He has some pins on his back right at his neck and also some coming in on his back right above his tail! One day they may meet in the middle!

I think the last 8 months of her being bounced from house to house just took a toll on her. Lol She is calming down for me, hasn't nipped me and stays on her stand mostly all day until daddy gets home, then she makes weird noises and flys to him and won't leave his side. It is cute and Pat adores it, it makes him so proud! She scared my neice yesterday. Gabby has a little girls voice she uses sometimes, which in a childless household is in itself creepy to hear. She was just repeating dad, dad, dad very softly. So with her old man voice and her little girls voice, we can't wait to hear the voices in between! I don'know if you guys remember Olivers obsession with snap peas but she has it too. Food that requires her to hold it doesn't do well with her but if i set it on the kitchen table she can step on it and work it that way. Huge mess but goodness it makes her so happy to do these type of things by herself. Her stand will have a perch, a ledge area and now a little countertop area big enough to allow her to do these things on her own!

When my mommy has the water coming out of her eyes, i don't nip her. If she wants to pick me up i let her, never argue when she is that way, if you do, the water gets stronger.

It isn't that he won't poop, he can't because the cyst is blocking him up. There was a narrow slit from the cyst and after the freeze his bottom swelled up even more. Then the blood and poop that was trying to come out dried up closing him up. That why the water spray worked for him. Now i just wipe him after his poops. Lol

The dangle came off tonight, EWWW! lol I was cleaning him up and it came off in the wipe. He still has a way to go but sooo much better. Sad part is 6 more days and he goes back for another treatment. He is still grunting when pooping. Funny thing, i have kept Oliver away from Bubba while Bubba heals and tonight we took them both outside and they wanted nothing to do with each other. My sweet Oliver is back. No longer are these two being possive with each other. Bubba is easier to handle too. I mean really, i am having to wipe his butt and i am actually able too! Lol

Bongo here, where is everyone? I gotta tell ya'll Gabby is a pain in my wing! She gets on my stand, eats my food and had the nerve to take a bath in my water! She has her own stand, she should use it more! Then there is Bubba, he is getting alot of moms attention right now, she keeps looking at his butt. My butt is pretty, why doesn't she look at mine? She bought me a cool java tree, then took it away and put Bubba on it. Thats really okay with me, it scared me, but i am not going to tell mom that. Let her feel guilty about it. Then we have Oliver, ha, what can i say about him?? He gets his way all the time, just because he lifts his foot up and says hello they go running to pick him up! Gesh. Oh well, i still get my time with mom so i shouldn't complain and i get more toys now and always get fed first! First to wake up, last to go to bed too! I like being first!

He ate almost a half a cup of the squash yesterday. Finally spoke with vets office late yesterday afternoon, they wanted me to bring him in and let the dr look at him after hours and then he would stay overnight. Yeah, no. He was already stressed out, we were not about to leave him. I asked if i could clean his bumm up, maybe it was just dried blood or even dried poo. He said of course i could, well i didn't know, i have never had anything frozen off before. Then i was told the swelling is normal, it will turn black and fall off. Hmmm, ok. I sprayed his bumm with cool water and within the hour he took a big poo and actually aimed it at my hubby! He ate some pasta for dinner and played with us on the kitchen table. I hope today he is even better, its like he knows we are trying to help him and he is being a sweet heart in return!

Waiting on the vet to call back. No poo. He tried but it was a struggle and it was eeking out. Nothing like a morning of poo watching. Its the one time i wished he had more watery poop, for his sake. He did eat some cantalope, just a few squares. Steaming up some butternut squash for him.

That is too funny. I love hearing when people are outsmarted by a bird!

She flys and lands with perfection, my 5 yr old is getting better at flying but unless i am in front of him to put my arm out, it is always a crash landing. Gabby did great today, only one time out for biting me when she was getting into something she shouldn't. She gets so mad, steps up without a fight but then clamps down on your hand when you try to set her down. I think she really thinks that if she does that, we will stop picking her up! Ha! I covered all my wooden tables today with glass, a day late but it won't get worse until she finds the legs! Lol

Thank you all for your support. Poor Bubba stopped pooping this afternoon. I put him to bed and made sure he had clean papers in there so i will know for sure in the morning. Dr. Moore said to call him either way so he will know. Lol, hubby felt good for most of the day then when he got home i was giving the birds some bannanas and he opted to take a bite himself. Because they make him ill for hours, i was shocked but he thought just a bite wouldn't hurt. Within 30 minures he was doubled over, even went to bed without dinner. Gabby did great today, only one time out! I had to seperate Oliver and Bubba from each other on the stand so the second Java tree is now Bubbas and Bongo got his old one back. He is happy as a clam about it too. Gabby loves it too and instead of flying everywhere today and getting into trouble, she would fly to the stand and play. Soooo, we are bringing back out the very first stand we got and doing some altering to it for her so she has a place of her own. Bubbas test should be back Monday at the latest. They said 5 days so. I am not as freaked out this go around. Either i have learned from Oliver or don't have enough time to get in a panic. Right now his poor red butt is my focus!
