  1. So cute...now everyone will want a trick or treat bucket! Happy Halloween to all!!
  2. Thanks...this has proven to be the best place in the house! Until now, too cool to be outside. : ( BTW...no trouble with the height of the tree. Even Shadow, either comes down closer or willingly steps onto her stick!

    Pellets

I have heard the new Higgins Natural pellets work great for transitioning off of the zupreem fruity blend. They are made with all natural fruit flavors and no added colors. Just a thought.
  4. NCavender...welcome! Please introduce yourself in the welcome room (if you haven't already). If you post a scenario of the behavior, I am sure members will be happy to offer advice! Everyone here is very helpful.
  5. My post was for additional expiration dates just added to the original recall. I agree that we could use a place for important recalls.
  6. I posted this link as well..in the thread "Ongoing recall" Certainly worth repeating.

    Fruits Question

Pears are ok, but you do want to limit the fruits. The best fruits are the dark berries. Lettuce is also ok, but stick to the dark leafy varieties. Iceburg lettuce has no nutritional value. I try to limit the fruits to one small bite every other day or so. Lots of daily veggies. Sometimes they will eat something one way but another, so you might try sliced diced and chopped...if that doesn't work try steamed sliced diced or chopped. Mine are sometime picky about the presentation. They also love sweet potatoes. Good luck!
  11. Good luck...keep us posted on their arrival!
  12. That is quite a jungle gym! Good job.
  13. WELL?? We're waiting......
  14. I have to say I was encouraged to allow my birds to be independent from the very beginning. I was told....teach them to play by themselves, and as hard as it may be, encourage "side by side" time together. So I have done what was suggested and my babies have no problem playing alone on a playstand or in their cage if I can't supervise. They enjoy their cage and I think as a result, they enjoy their time with me that much more! I remember having a 2 year old that was always by my side....it can be frustrating! Hang in there, and be persistent!

    Poor baby

Sassy...I am so glad you got her the help she needed. Did the Dr mention how your baby would/could have picked up this "cold"? I hate the internet because everything seems to come across the wrong way but I couldn't help but wonder....I ask because I have a baby also and it scares me to think that they can get sick so easily.
  17. Shadow also loves her swing. Thanks for sharing such beautiful pictures.
  18. Lola has finally mastered her gift of flight and now at least twice a day she flies around like a crazy bird, exercising those wings and showing off her new precision landing skills! Lucky for me she has mastered those landings! Now, my Grey does not fly much at all. She is very content to wander around the floor or simply hang out on the top of her favorite tree.
  19. Welcome! It sounds like you are off to a great start! Patience will be rewarded in the long run. I know others with more experience will soon offer more advice. Would love to see pictures!
  20. I always enjoy your photos! Thanks for posting.
  21. Not sure about the laundry but that little green cheek can sure put away the keys from my keyboard.....currently missing the right arrow.
  22. Sorry I missed your day Talon...hope you got a special treat!
  23. Such a heartwarming story. Walter is lucky to have such a caring flock.
