MEMO: All Grey Owners... Due to recent events I will be unavailable to post here for approx 5 minutes. I am out in the street dancing and singing, I am repeating what Timmy said today. For those who havent heard, Timmy is a talker, not just one word but several! I have an extreme amount of excitement and awe going thru my system right now and I just cant bear to sit still. My back hurts cause I just did a backflip while I was playing "Ave Maria" on the piano up on the roof! My vocal chords are also sore because I just hummed the theme from "as the world turns" while bench pressing my truck!!!! I AM EXCITED>>>>>TIMMY CAN TALK!!!!!

His language is the same as mine!!! A slow long drawn out southern tounge! haha

I agree with all of yall. Timmy has not been too nice this morning either, so I fed him an awesome breakfast and will let him be. Maybe he is just excited that he is with the other birds now, who "nose"! Hahahahaha

Thanks Barb!!!! I didnt even want to look at my wife after that. She didnt even see it happen!!!!! I cleaned up and walked in the den like everything was normal, but how could I hide a bloody scab on my nose???? Wasnt gonna happen at all, so I told her I hit my nose on some sheetmetal in the shop....BAD IDEA!!!!!! She knew....right off the bat, cause I was in the sunroom last time she saw me!! She thinks I deserved what I got and laffed at me!!!!! How do yall women always know the truth???? hahah lololololololo

I dont even know how to start...... Timmy had a GREYT day, very vocal and a few fresh grapes as treats for good behavior! It went downhill from there tho! I usually close his cage door for the night and "kiss" him thru the cage as I say goodnite but things went really wrong! His beak decided to meet my nose with a "screech" followed by an instant "STRIKE" like a python going in for the kill!!!!! It all happenend in .002 seconds and I felt the blood drop automatically! It was my fault tho...I could tell he was tired and all since he just had his cage moved to another room yesterday and I thought it would "comfort" him to "kiss" him goodnight...Thats what I get for thinking huh!! haha He kissed me alright, but he was VERY VERY VERY vocal after that for some reason, maybe cause he felt bad for biting me or maybe he was happy he taught me a lesson!!!!!!

............Im getting hungry! Thats a good meal for Timmy too! He had his first taste of Pizza Hut tonight and HE LOVED IT, but he aint gettin too much of that!

Dang, well, Timmy is prob still getting used to everything, so I dont think there wil lbe a prob.......Ill let you know! It is what it is at this point-Wife has laid down the law and Timmy and I must conform! haha

Well, yall know Timmy has been with me for month now. We have had to move his cage from the den to the sunroom (where other birds are) due to the mess and my 1 year old girl thinks his poop is a special "treat" and the dander and feathers have driven my wife crazy! Also, The den gets very little light, kind of a dark sunken room with few windows for natural light. Timmy has been in the sunroom many times so he knows it aint that bad, and he can see and hear the other birds there. I think the natural sunlight, other birds, 2 small dogs, and our main traffic area of the house will be better for him! I can sit in there alot and watch TV and it is visible from his cage to see the kitchen (where we are alot). What should I expect from Timmy, as far as his behavior, from moving his cage?? Will it be a BAD transition????

Ray- hahahahahahahah It starts at the tail then works its way to the neck, kind of an evolution type of progression........Timmy will be eating chitlins and watching Dukes of Hazard before you know it!!! lolololhahahahahahhaahahha

Well (blush) thanks Barb!!! That pic was after a long day of painting at work! Makes me feel good!!!!! Timmy will sit on my shoulder, but he LOVES to nip at the ear and pull my chain around my neck...he dont bite hard tho, just a tap and I tell him to "stoppit!"
