I do not have MBS I am just polish.

It would be my honor to take part in the set up. In my research of the other fids I have learned a lot about other parrots and about our membership. Still waters run deep.

Just an up date for other honored fids. We have 48 other parrots, 1 canarie and 2 peafowl(peacocks) along with 4 flocks of chickens and ducks that are honored in the other birds room. There are 24 differant care givers. This does not count the honored amazons and their care givers. The tidbits are being added to each species as I find them. Grey forum members love all their fids with many species as part of their family Remember if you do not see your other fids on the list than PM me with their name and species PS This list of other honored birds will always be a work in progress so check it often.

Merlin looks great and he is a cool looking fid. I will add you and Merlin to the Other birds Honored list in the other birds room. Enjoy your new friend.

OK I am going to put my foot in my mouth. Some things I think are important. 1. Talk to your bird and not at them. 2. Communicate with your birds and not just words. 3. Enjoy your time with them and have fun. 4. Educate your bird and not just train. Your bird is like anouther child in your home. If you teach they will learn. If you train they will perform. Just IMO>

In the past 40 years I have had about 25 or so tiels and I still have two to this day and they are awesome compaions and so full of personality. I think I will always have a teil in my life.
