  1. I didn't take your warning to turn it down. Murphy was sat on the sofa with me & when Biscotti dive bombed the camera the noise started him & he nearly fell off the off the sofa.......lol
  2. How's Spock, have you seen another vet yet?
  3. The harness has only been chewed on the red strap harness part that fit onto him, it was new about two months ago. The bungee bit is the bit that came out, not chewed or snapped just pulled right out of the metal clip. Poor boy missed out on his BBQ last night, we had a great night as well & Murphy was invited too. Just checked my mail & Parrot University have got back to me saying how sorry they are & out of 100,000 harness out there that is the first one that the cord has came out of. They have asked for my address & will send me out new one today, hopefully I'll get it as I'm in the UK & they are in the USA. If it comes then what great customer service that will be, amazing! I look forward to getting a new one so Murphy can still enjoy coming out with us. I took some nice pictures yesterday of our walk.
  4. Have already emailed them & given the same photo, I hope they do take this seriously.
  5. You wouldn't believe the close call I just had with Murphy. He has been on his harness all afternoon, been out for a walk through the village with me, my friend, Ella-Rose & Zeus & was just chilling in the garden & I thought I'll put him in for bit to cool off & get some food. I had just brought him in the house & he decided he didn't want to come in & flew off my hand & flew round the living room still with the harness on. Next minute the bungee cord came off the harness, it actually came out of the metal bit, the cord didn't snap. Can't believe it broke, a few seconds earlier & he would have been out in the garden & gone! I put my faith in this harness thinking he was safe & sound while out & about..........not so! It's new & the bungee bit hasn't been chewed at all!
  6. Kate just ducks if she has time or if she knows he's about to do it she puts her hand up palm facing him & says "stay"..............................................1 minute later he tries again! He does give up in the end, learning slowly but surely. It annoys the hell out of her sometimes though especially when he gets caught up in her hair & now she has little scabs on her head from his sharp talons Kate was scratching her head last night cussing the little monkey & I just said "he just loves you"........lol
  7. My Fiancee Kate wants to know the same thing! Murphy only does it to Kate I guess he loves her
  8. Well at least it's not Just Murphy who is being a little stinker
  9. I can get Murphy on his back if he's in the right mood but can't imagine him sleeping like it, would give his little baby feet a rest though........lol
  10. I think their concern is that the pet shop will sell Oscar to the wrong buyer upon collection as their is a few babies that have been bought.
  11. You really do need to contact the police if you have had no luck yourself, at the end of the day he has stolen from you! You have had Cocoa for 9 months & is now your bird which Edward has taken from you. Don't mean to sound pushy just trying to give you some support & fire you up to make a move in the right direction........don't take this lying down.
  12. Real Sad news, What a piece of sh*t to do that to you. Can you not go over & get him back from this guy Edward?
  13. Just subscribed to her YouTube channel.
  14. It was quite fortunate that Murphy took to it straight away, I hadn't even got the label off & he was down the cage like a shot to see what I had. As soon as I offered it up to him he grabbed it as you can see from the pictures. I also got him one of those calcium perches the other day to help trim his nails, put it on top of his cage & he looked at it with great suspicion but as soon as I put it in his cage straight on it no problem.
  15. Yes we all get bit from time to time but I can understand your post about the biting on the face. If it had been his eye this post would have been even more serious. This forum is a place I feel where you can come to post about the good times with your grey as well as the bad, a place to ask for help & vent your frustrations & post just about anything to do with your grey. The care & support here is great & that's what keeps people coming back..........well done people!
  16. Such a shame she has been re-homed 7 times in four years, I feel for the little soul. I hope she is happy now you have her & has a happy life with you........well done!
  17. This is a cool perch I thought so had to get it him. It has a spinning toy on the end
  18. Murphy does the same, as you can see in photo 4 it's a little frayed. He's not so bad as he was when it first went on him.
  19. First time for both of them experiencing swings & both enjoyed it
