1. ShonaRay, Apologies if I am wrong but I am trying to read between your lines, did your dog kill your grey? I'm sorry but this is how it reads to me. I really hope that you get yourself another bird, it won't replace Joey but it sure will help you in your grief.
2. Bernie, why do I know that you love your Tiggs
3. That's wonderful news Greg, you must be sooo relieved. Karma coming your way for reading Lily so well, you are an excellent parront!
4. I do sympathise Caroline, it must be terrifying for you as well as Charlie. Dave's idea sounds a good one and the reasons could be any or all of the above, poor you. I'm not sure I'd even hear mine if they did this as I sleep heavy.
5. A bittersweet day for you today then. Happy to hear that Bill is feeling better but sooo sad about the dog but you know you did what was best for all concerned and as Judy says you know he is going where he'll be loved.
6. How could you be mad at this little cutie pie though...
7. Sounds good to me, wish I could come too. Sod the bank manager I say
8. Just testing something that isn't working.

Post edited by: Joolesgreyuk, at: 2009/10/20 19:29
9. Mika is gorgeous, great photographs!
10. Looks to me like a lil baby grey emerging from the margerine. What planet are you lot on
11. Bernie would use his cat Tigs
12. Thanks for the tip Lex, I hadn't thought of Zoflora, I used a tinsy winsy bit of bleach in the kitchen yesterday to get some stains off a work surface and was worried about the fids in the other room as there is no connecting door so I opened an outside door and window to ventilate, I did wonder to myself what I'd do in the bitterly cold weather, now I know. Karma to you.
13. Aww that's great news, a happy ending. :woohoo:
14. Oh Rhonnie, I'm so sorry to hear of this but you know you mustn't fear the worse until it has been confirmed, your husband's attitude and whole outlook can have a positive effect on this, please do your best to keep his spirits up and hope alive. I think that maybe he is jumping the gun a little here, why not wait and see what the doc says. Your animals will be a comfort to you at this time (and can also have a positive effect on your health) so think carefully before giving any up. Of course as Judy has already said, we will gladly be on hand to take your mind off things if need be. Please feel free to pm me if you so wish and good luck with the visit to the docs ;-)
15. I do sympathise with you. I have the opposite wheras Beau very definately has my voice but Hubby is his favourite, tbh I'd prefer it your way around as Beau is my bird and I am the one who feeds & cleans him. One thing is for sure you wont change what your bird choses, it's the way it is.
16. Since I reported Beau losing many of his white fluffy downy feathers he has lost many more of these + 2 red tail feathers and a wing feather and my God is he a scruffy so & so, some of his remailing feathers look frayed around the edges and he has a small piece of one sticking out from his back, it has been like that for about a week. I've never seen him look so scruffy, no new pins yet though.
17. Congratulations Judy, well deserved award. As I'm a fairly new member I can't claim to have known you for long but I've been on this forum long enough to know you're a good un. Well done Jude! {Feel-good-000200BB}
18. Crap name indeed (well it's better than Newcastle innit lol) you're only miffed cos I changed it from Harvey. It's ok, no need to apologise and admit you were wrong about his cozypouch ;-) Seriously though, he's hardly been out of it for the past 24 hrs, he LOVES it LOL.
19. What a cutiepie oops sorry cutielime ;-)
20. Wow, congrats on picking up your baby today, it does bring it all back when someone is so excited about this, ah I remember it so well. Can't wait to see some pics of the little guy.
21. My grey is also 9 months and molting but with no new pins yet. Look on the bright side, you get to keep one or two beautiful baby red tail feathers as a keepsake, it's like keeping a lock from baby's first haircut ;-)
22. Robin, I got the pouch from Northern Parrots, if I remember rightly it was quite cheap too. Pat, not as cute as he looks, he's a nippy lil so & so, beak like a needle and not as tame as Beau. ;-) I still love him though.
