Hello Jessi and welcome to the forum! That is great that Meko has adjusted to you so well, some people aren't that lucky. If he bites you, you should calmly tell him no bite and put him back in his cage for a short "time out"(maybe 5 mins.) and maybe he will get the picture that it is not nice to bite. And the next time you pick him up and he doesn't bite give him a treat or lots of praises so that he knows he did good. I hope this helps a little. Anyways enjoy the forum and maybe post some pics of Meko if you get a chance, we love to see pictures.

Hello TaMarah and welcome to the forum! I'm glad you figured out how to post. That is so nice of you to rehome an older grey. What is his name? He is probably still adjusting to your home and trying to get use to you. As for introducing new toys you should place the toy near his cage for awhile so he can get use to it being around but not in his cage just yet. New things scare some greys so you need to give him time. Maybe play with the toy in front of him and show him how fun it is lol. He sure is a very pretty grey in your profile pic. Your baby should be on 3 feedings a day. Eating about 35-45cc per feeding. How is he doing? Is he gaining any weight?

How are you uploading the pics? You should go to photobucket.com and paste the IMG code onto here, thats the easiest way and you can upload multiples pics at a time.

Wow what a nice big cage that is for Shady! I also got a bigger cage for Ecko yesterday. Someone in my family was giving it away and so I took it since its alot bigger than the one he has now and it was free so I had to! I can't wait to put him in it, he is going to love all the space.
