Thanks guys! Today he has learned how to fly to my boyfriend and I when we call him. It is soooo cool! Its so funny when he is about to land on my arm, he hovers over me for a bit so he can get a good land. He can turn around pretty good too and lands perfectly. My apartment isn't that big so I thought he might have problems flying around but he manages great! I'm so proud of him. :silly:

My baby grey does this too. There is hardly ever any poo in his cage but when we take him out, he goes straight to the rugs to poo on them :angry:. I don't understand why he chooses to go on the small rugs and not on the tile where its easy to clean up. What a little devil :evil:

Ecko loves to go outside with his harness on. He was about to take off. He flies in circles with the harness on lol. I can't seem to get a good pic of him flying. What a big boy! I love my baby! What a pretty bird! When we go places I take Ecko in a box, well he wanted to see outside the box and so he figured out a way to perch on the box lol. He loves to go for car rides, he flaps and chirps away. I take him to every family dinner we go to (which is alot) and he goes to everyone with no problem. I am trying to socialize him so he does this all the time and so far its working. And heres his new cage. Its much bigger than the other one and he loves all the space. I think he might be a little spoiled with all those toys in there. Haha:lol:

Hello Phaynes and welcome to the forum! That is so nice of you to rehome an older grey. Does he talk? And whats his name? Like Dan said offer him treats and give him his space so he doesn't bite you. Pretty soon you should start to read his body language so you know when he is going to bite. Don't try to force him to like you either because it takes time and patience. Anyways enjoy the site and yes we love to see pictures.

Hello B2M and welcome to the forum! Can you give us a little more info? How old is your grey? Is she plucking the feathers out or are the feathers falling out? She could be molting or she could be very stressed or sick..

I would be worried too. I think you should go check on him because you don't want to regret it if something was wrong with him. But I am sure he is fine if she couldn't find anymore blood. How long did she stay with him after it happened? Did she stay for a little to see if he was acting ok?

Ok then well heres more. :lol: Ecko loves this toy! He was going crazy with it and then he ended up between the table haha! Its the easiest toy to make, its made with wire and beads. Add some rope with wood stars. A wiffle ball, with some rope and some blocks. Pretty simple lol. It may not look like that I made this but I really did, lol. I ordered the parts from birdyboredombusters.com and it came out to look like a store bought toy haha! Its wood blocks, with coconut pieces and at the end little plastic pacifiers. OK I'm done now. :lol:

I made a lot of toys. lol Here is the one I like the most but its a swing, lol is that considered a toy?haha How its made: I found a nice real branch, screwed in some hooks, tied some colorful rope to the screws, tied knots to hold the colorful wood blocks, and then added some leather string and beads to chew on while he is swinging.
