Harrisons is suposed to be the best but each to there own i supose it expensive but they dont eat it in the wild but thats my opinion I maybe wrong but your vet recomended it to you but would he had said Harrisons if he didnt sell it ? Dont get me wrong im not having a go at you or your vet its just what makes Harrisons so special is it a magic formula do they know more than other food produceres any animal can get sick weather it eats the best or average food its just like humans some get best steak others get mince dont mean to say the steak eater wont get sick

Alfie has been molting for about a month or so now and his new red tail feathers are just coming through he still has some old ones to. How long does it usually take to grow the full set and should he cast his flight feathers in order i.e. from the body to the outer wing this is his first molt as he is just turned 1 year old. Alfie has his first 4 flights clipped from the outer wing & i have noticed that a new one has grown where one of his clipped flights was so have i missed the others or do they cast flight feathers in any order they want to grow in ? Jilly did you get Harvey from Parrotcare i got Alfie from there & they sent the same harness, not a chance of gettin it on so it went about 50 yards in a southern direction ive seen the Aviator it looks loads better think i may invest
