My bf named our bird Pepper because of his bright red tail ;O) it's a pretty cute name

I am on my first vacation since owning my bird, and luckily my bf and I live @ my house, so he is staying at home with my parents. He likes them, especially my dad. but in july my sis is having a baby, and my parents of course are going to see her too shes in ny. i want to bring him with us its about a 7 hour drive, does anyone recommend this? im so scared to leave him @ a boarding place.. he doesnt like cages I spend A LOT of time at home with him, I go to school full-time but take 2 online, and 1 on campus (my other class just ended).. and im in the process of getting a job only work 2 days a week right now.. so basically i spend a lot of time with him. i love it but its gonna suck when i get a steady job and i have to leave him in his cage!!!!!! he doesnt spend much time in his cage.

I took him outside with me last week, because I am now on vacation from Saturday until Thursday or Friday. I miss him!! So I wanted to share these pictures of Pepper outside:side:, and a couple other random ones. Hope you guys don't mind! =s

My bird is flighted (I think?), we haven't gotten his wings clipped in a long time. I love that he flies!:laugh: I think he likes it a lot better too. he's a bit messy but nothing to do with his flight. i don't really wanna clip his wings again

I don't let him ride the whole time on my shoulder. The ride is only about 25 minutes. Ok.

He does have a carrier he sits in, I let him sit on my shoulder sometimes. He seems to feel a lot more secure on my shoulder.. because when he's in his carrier he scratches at it to get out.

Hello everyone! I am going on vacation with my bf on March 6th in the middle of the night, and won't back til the night or late afternoon of March 12.. or at the latest March 13th. I am a bit nervous about leaving Pepper here. I don't even wanna go without him haha. It's a short period of time but he hates being without us even for 5 - 8 hours. My parents will be here, and we're moving his cage downstairs so that helps. He is so used to spending the day with me though. How has everyone elses experiences been with leaving their grey on vacation?? Aww yay! Mine started talking around 4 months, I think they first heard him say "good boy" Now, he's 6 months and is definitely still talking. Hes so funny!

haha cute. Pepper doesn't really like them but he doesn't throw a fit. I always take him in the shower with me haha .. I get him wet then he wants to go sit on the top of the shower

I've noticed that Pepper will sometimes ... throw up his food in his mouth, and then swallow it again. At least that's what it looks like. Is this normal? Is he eating too much? He does eat a lot lol
