Hi dberes, karma to you for adopting and older grey. I have no experience with an older grey so I can't offer any advice. I only wanted to welcome you to the family. If you get a chance we would love to see some pictures of Gracie.

Hi Sarah, I am the owner of an 8-month-old TAG so I don't have any experience with an older grey. I just wanted to welcome you to the family. Hope Jack learns to trust you soon as I believe from your post that you are a good and caring person. Your patience and gentleness will win through and you and Jack will then enjoy a long, loving and trusting relationship. When you get a chance we would love to see some pictures of Jack.

When I first got Ana Grey at 4 months she slept in her tent, probably because she was use to sleeping with 3 siblings. She no longer does that, hasn't for a long while.

I don't think I spoil Ana Grey at all. But my neighbor says that when she dies she wants to come back as a bird. MY BIRD!!! :ohmy: So maybe I spoil my baby a little!!! :lol: :silly:

Gee, I haven't been back to that zoo in probably 30 years or more. Thanks for sharing these great and magnificent birds with us. I wish there was a picture of the peacocks, love those peacocks!!! Thanks Dan for sharing your adventure with us!!!

Ana Grey eats over her pellet bowl and so she has lots of fine pellet particles in her bowl. Sometimes I find a pellet or two in her water dish, perhaps she is trying to make gravy!! lol

What a sweet little baby. She is certainly growing up fast!!!

I went to your profile and looked at your pictures of Mesa. Such a good-looking grey.

Because I live alone and it is only Ana Grey, Lily the pug and me I have a lot of foraging toys for Ana Grey and place her treats in them. She seems to enjoy digging her treat out and it sure keeps her out of trouble. Perhaps Indy would enjoy seeking for his treats also.
