Hi 3greys2love, karmas to you for taking in an older grey. I hope some of our members who have older greys will be able to help you. As Dan has said, it sounds like you have been doing a marvelous job so far.
It certainly sounds like you and Bismark have a wonderful relationship going there!!! Ana Grey loves to stand on my feet to be picked up too. At least she did until she could fly now we argue about "not the shoulder but the arm little lady!"
Love the pictures of Bismark's handy work, Snakeopus! Of course my favorite is Bismark getting ready to fix everything!!! Good luck with that!!!
Hi Bea, how wonderful of you to take in an older grey. If you have any pictures we would love to see them. You have a nice flock going there. We would love to see your fids. Welcome to the family.
You are joking right Jamal. Why would you want to restrict your greys' bodies/feathers. You aren't thinking of taking them outside in the winter time are you???
I would call your avian vet and see what they think. The puffed up and sleeping a lot bother me. Did you dry the cage out after spraying washing it? How old is Buster?
Hi Beth, Karma to you for taking in an older grey. I never let my grey on my shoulder. She is restricted to my arm or one of her perches. Dan has given some great advice. My grey was clipped when I got her and it has taken over a year for her flight feathers to grow back. She is a joy to watch fly and so much happier.

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/12/16 21:33
Hi Jessi, welcome to you and Jake. I can't help you with your air blowing grey. Perhaps others greys do this. Karma to you for taking in an older grey. If you have any pictures of Jake, we would love to see them. Can't wait to hear more about Jake!
In a seafood restaurant eating all the seafood I want. Lobster, abalone, shrimp, calamari, and loads of butter with a large salad!
What is your favorite card game?
