My female grey is curious, mischievous, and a little dare devil. She has always been cuddly and the sweetest little lady. I only have a male eclectus to compare her to and he is more cautious and sly. I hope you have a great time in Brazil. Please share this journey with us when you come back on line. You will find the right grey for you when you come home. I can't wait to hear when you find your grey. After all you are now a part of the Grey Family!

Ana Grey sometimes grabs her toys and flings them around with a vengeance. And sometimes she will whistle and jabber away like a magpie. I believe they just need to make noise sometimes just like any kid. It's fun to watch them play isn't it!

Julie, my 10+ eclectus was hormonal a few months ago. He started running his tongue over my arm and trying to latch on. Luckily I was able to distract him as I have a bleeding problem. Sully would pin his eyes and lunge and nip at me every time I came near his case. Dave007 was a total blessing for me with some great advice. Thankfully after awhile this too did pass.

Great pictures snakeopus. My Ana Grey loves her swinging perch. It hangs in front of the living room window and it is her favorite perch. I would give Bismark a chance to explore and get use to the perch. It all takes time. Tom, I think you should always make sure you do a poop check before cuddly up with the wife. I consider myself lucky as my grey believes that I am a no poop zone. Thank goodness!

I remember once when a humpback whale came right up beside where I was looking over the rail and popped up and blew water from his blow hole up at me. I laughed and laughed and one of the crew told me it was good luck to be "snotted on" by a whale!!!! :laugh: Great memory to be that close to a whale.
