  1. Awww Joey is so smart. So far all Ana Grey thinks about is what she wants to eat, have or have done for her!!! Perhaps some day!!!! Thanks for sharing with us Maggie!
  2. From the beginning, if I don't want my grey somewhere I move her. If she won't step up I just cup her in my two hands and move her telling her why as we go back to her cargo net, perch, cage or wherever I want her to be. You have to be in charge or like any child or pet they will do it their way. And you know, Ana Grey loves me to this day, regardless of whether she get her way or not. I gently swat her away if she tries to light on my head, sit on my shoulder or on my keyboard. You are not being mean, you are being in charge. Ana Grey has boings, perches, a cargo net and a tree stand throughout the house where she can always see me and be near me in each room of the house, except the bathroom, that's mine! Does she try to bite me, yes sometimes but I tell her no and do what I have to do anyway. Just like little children, you have to do what's right for them and you whether they like it or not!
  3. You didn't say how your grey escapes. If he can unlatch the door, I agree I would lock it. You can always take the locks off when you are home. I personal never trust different species of animals together without an adult around, anything can happen or be misunderstood between them. By the way, I love Cosmo's cage.
  4. My little TAG, Ana Grey, has a lot of red in her tail also. She has always been that way and she is now 20 months old. I personally like it as it distinguishes her from other TAGs. There are some pictures here in the forum somewhere featuring her tail, but for the life of me i can't find them.
  5. Q: How's the weather in Seattle, Washington? A: February 29th
  6. My grey can hide better than your grey.

  12. Hi Nick, glad you decided to join the forum. I commend you for trying to make Shadow's life so much more for him. You seem to have done a lot of research and put a lot of thought into caring for and helping make Shadow's life comfortable for him. I agree that time and patience and lots of love are what will bring Shadow around. Be patient and hopefully things will settle down for Shadow and he will be more susceptible to your friendship. I look forward to hearing more about Shadow's and your progress. Welcome to the Grey family!
