How about a combination lock. I doubt your grey can open that.... unless you give him the combination.

This is totally great news about Charlie, Sheila. I am so happy for him, great job Sheila! As for the misting, have you tried spraying above him so that the mist goes downside over him. Perhaps in the beginning that might help at least to get him use to it again. Ana Grey when she sees me misting Sully or just sees the mist bottle immediately goes to her cage playstand and spreads her wings she loves the mist and always spreads her wings and turns. I know you will succeed in getting Charlie fully healthy and used to being sprayed again. You're a great parront!!!

Hi Debbie, I have a TAG and she is fearless. I totally love her and she me. She is a small little lady only weighing in at 290g. I chose a Timneh because they are smaller than a congo. That's my personal preference. The only other person she will go to on her own is my 10 year old grandson. I think it just depends on the bird and how they are socialized. So personally, I would go with the grey be it CAG or TAG that chooses you. I believe then you will both be happy. I know you will enjoy being a member of the grey forum. There are oodles of threads here on about any subject about greys you could think of. Or if you have questions, just start your own thread on the subject and see what others think or suggest. Please do as Dave has asked, he only has your baby grey's best interests in mind. Dave isn't going to just throw out generic information without understanding what he is dealing with. Especially when a baby grey's life depends on it. We are all here because we love greys. You would not have asked your question if you didn't care about your baby grey. Please stop being defensive and supply the picture so you can be better advised for your grey's sake.

If you have the same vet and he is familiar with your grey's history, the vet should be able to help quickly. Please take your grey back to your avian vet.

Ana Grey is now 21 months old and has started to talk more and change things around. She also gets into more things that she never even thought about before. As Sheila said it all depends on the grey and the socialization involved some sooner some later. I look forward to Ana Grey's evolving personality!

I just bought a couple of Gardenia plants for my living room and bedroom. Natural scents much better me thinks!!!
