Magnificent! Cocoa is so beautiful in flight! How I envy that your Cocoa gets to fly like that and wish my Ana Grey could do the same! Thank you Sanggay for sharing these flights with us!

Favorites, yes Ana Grey is my favorite and is also the most needy of my two fids. I have an older rescued male Eclectus who needed someone to love him so he is with me. Sully does not like to play or really interact. I try to put him on window perches and he always jumps down and goes to a cage. He will sit on my computer screen but jumps off after a few minutes. He likes to be near me in the room but in a cage. I leave the doors open to cages and he goes back to his big cage at 7:00 pm for bedtime. He has lots of toys but does not play with them. Ana Grey loves to fly all through the house and be in the middle of everything. I love them both, but yes Ana Grey is my favorite. Sully does not get less attention, he just doesn't want more.

Ana Grey had a feather out of place and she just couldn't take it!!! I have a rescued eclectus that was in a pet shop for ages. This month is the anniversary of his being with me one year. No one wanted him because he was a screamer, biter and he is a terrible plucker. I took Dr. Flock's advice (Dave 007) and Solomon (aka Sully) is growing back some feathers. He might not grow all of them back, but I have great hopes that someday he will. This is my dream for him.

Love Little People Big World. As for 18 kids and Counting, I just can't watch a woman who thinks popping them out one a year is smart. Don't get me wrong, the family is wonderful and very well cared for, but that many kids and not stopping..... Criminal Minds one of my favorites. Survivor I like until they vote off the smart, strong or conniving ones, when the boring are left I stop watching.

Ooopps, Maggie is the human and Spock is the grey!!!! Spock sometimes "talks" to us. Not to worry its normal for this forum!!! :) I'll let Jay or Maggie explain it to you. (p.s. they are both human, I think!!!)

#2 seen an honest

First I remember wanting to be a newspaper reporter. Read the book "Nellie Bly" at a young age and it fascinated me. The farthest I got in that endeavor was front page editor of my high school newspaper and then the editor of a boy scout newsletter when involved in that organization. In my late twenties I decided I wanted to work in a law firm. I retired as a paralegal/office manager for a 5 attorney law office at the age of 50.

Oh so sorry, but sorry, oh so funny!!!!

i give my fids Pretty Bird specifically for their breed (for african greys for Ana Grey) and (for eclectus for Sully) daily. I also always keep freeze dried broccoli, corn, spinach in their cages. They also get dried mango and banana. I alternate between fresh vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cucumber, squash, radishes) and a mix of frozen beans and pasta and vegetables (mix up my own then freeze) every other day. I also mix up my own seeds (safflower, oats, corn) which I give to them in the evening before lights out. They also get alternately shelled peanuts, pine nuts, walnuts, pecans and homemade mini-muffins full of nuts and raisin as treats. I don't find that my fids overeat and I don't measure their food out. I just feed what I feel they might need at the time.

Good job Jill. Reminds me of the time I rescued a baby bird found around my office building. I went to the pet shop on the way home and bought some meal worms. Fed that little featherless bird for weeks until it flew off into the sunset. I remember because I had just gotten another cartoon of worms the day he was released and had no one to eat them!!!!

Ryan our greys do love to pick up other bird calls, so do beware. I had to put up with the the call of crows last summer. Ana Grey decided she wanted to be just like them big buggers.

I echo Jill's sentiments, fingered crossed that all Paco's tests will lead to the culprit of Paco's chest plucking problems. You're a good parront Ryan and remember a little fasting is good for the soul. (So I've been told) P.S. I would stir clear of Jacarual's blueberry pie, I know the secret ingredient and trust me you won't like it!

I had to watch a couple of times to be able to spot Cocoa coming in!!!! I finally saw him he is so quick! How beautiful and fantastic that he can fly so far! Magnificent!
