hmmmm that didn't work lol how do i upload mulitple pictures lol
-
well me and tigerlily have just come back from camping in padstow, cornwall (uk) and thought i'd share the pics. the 1st night i doubt tigerlily slept cause it didn't stop raining and i realised the next night that i needed to remove her toy from the cage and raise her perch so she was higher up to sleep. apart from that we both had a GREAT time. tigerlily loved her adventure pack and chatted away in it and turned many an eye

Post edited by: Tigerlily, at: 2009/08/09 17:04

well a few weeks later and here she is. its now her favourite hanging toy.
-
of course lol. there's nothing she likes more than sitting on my knee grooming herself and making a right mess with all her scaley bits and white downy feathers that she grooms out lol
-
yeah, tigerlily can accept a new toy in a matter of seconds but perches are a different story, she can take days to get used to a new one
-
we have no set routine. sometimes tigerlily only spends a few minutes out her cage and other days she spends all of it out her cage. sometimes she sits on my knee for hours, other times she's out her cage but in a different room to me. other times she's alone all day, others she's in her cage, but with me in the room (as i need SOME peace and quiet lol) we don't really do training sessions, i just talk to her and she picks up what she wants.

i did have a mouse trap with chocolate but i think the mouse thought mu leg would be tastier lol
-
excellent. make me jelous but hopeful that we'll get to that stage one day, at the moment she just injoys watching me get wet lol
-
i can leave my cat and the grey in the room by themselves now, yes i know i shouldn't really but they've worked things out between them and they now have a mutual understanding to leave eachother alone! bearing in mind i used to have pet rats that chased my cat off the sofa, stupid cat lol
-
well, i got home from work just now, swearing vengance on this mouse. got home and yes, there it was, still under the sofa. so, out came the sofa followed by the mouse. sparky(my cat) caught it then took it under my bed:evil: so i knelt on the floor and looked under the bed and sparky lets go of the mouse who runs under my legs, but i didn't see where it went, then.... i realised it was up my trousers:lol: :woohoo: so i held my trouser leg so it couldn't get out, crawled to the front door, hopped outside then let my trouser leg go, but the mouse came out the other one:laugh:  oh how i love my cat!

i've got a box that give an electric shock when the mouse goes inside that i've lined with peanut butter and chocolate and 9:00am this morning spent over £40 on three rodent repellers. it's now 10:00pm and i can still see the little bugger under the sofa {Emotions-00020077}

Do you ever pretend that you're leaving?

that's hilerious {Feel-good-0002006E} the things these birds drive us to lol -
i'm with judy on this one, you've given me hope char:) for the past 2-3 months (since my shower was installed) i've taken tigerlily in with me on a shower perch 1-3 times a week but the slightest speck of water and she flies on top the screen:angry: i've always sprayed her and she loves dunking her backside into a dog bowl full of water so water isn't a new thing for her. i'll just keep on praying lol

can't get any peace and quiet when she's out of her cageB)
-
she's adorable {Love-00020118} it always makes me laugh when they just pick their toys up and throw them on the floor. i'm sure they just like hearing the noise they make when they drop lol. also looks like you have the same cage as meB)
-
thanks. thats made me feel better about getting one.

it sounds like you've become the love of his life and he's showing you, take it as a compliment but don't encourage it. as for the dislike to your husband, this can happen and be thankful he hasn't taken a dislike to you;)

my cat is being very naughty and bringing live mice in. usually i can catch them but i'm sure i've got more than one running about the flat. i brought a electric shock box to trap them a few days ago but no luck. will a plug in rodent repeller harm tigerlily? they say on the box that humans, cats and dogs cant hear it but nothing about birds. does anyone also know if the repeller actually kills the little buggers. i didn't think they did and i was just hoping to draw them out so the sparky can catch them but i just read on the internet that a pet gerbil died cause of one. but i'm mostly concerned that it might effect tigerlily

BABY FOOD!!! tigerlily loves the dry mix stuff that you mix with water, i tried the jar stuff but she didn't take to that. but she will make a right mess with the baby food. must admit though, i had to "pretend" to eat it at first to get her interested but was suprised how well it taste:laugh: she has her own spoon and she cant get enough of the stuff:laugh:
