I have been on a right retail therapy trip. Went out this morning and ended up getting a new car.I need something a bit larger than my mini so ended up ordering a new Fiesta titanium.I wont get it for about 6 weeks so a long wait in store.I was going to get a mini clubman but when I had a good look the fiesta was a better deal and has much more space and gadgets.I am so excited. I am going out tonight to celebrate my birthday next Thursday. Julie did you try Sainsburys,they are in little containers in the packed fruit department. I am praying Rishi gets well.Please do all you can to contact an avian vet. Perhaps the vet you have seen could email or phone one and get advise on treatment that way. I hope this gets sorted.

Tyco is one smart girl. I am so happy she has at last found out how to use her wings.

You are spot on with saying avoidance is the way to go.This will prevent the situation getting worse and becoming a habbit.Things may change again over the months but for now accept the situation and avoid making it worse.Haveyour wife interact with Malaki as norman when you are not around ,this will maintain their bond.

I think as long as you have a good relationship with Emma and a strong grounding with step up and can read her body language things should not become too bad.She may become a bit more assertive but this is quite normal.I had very little trouble with Charlie ,maybe the odd nip but nothing serious.I have noticed he is a lot more distructive lately,he is 6-7 years old now. I think this is also normal for a bird his age. I dont know if gender has any reflection on this,I suspect its more the environment and upbringing they recieve.

Charlie sometimes has quiet days,he also has days where he does not eat as much as normal.It does not happen often but like you I worry when he is in that mood. I just keep a close eye on him for any signs of illness such as fluffing up or if he is not alert to things going on around him.Usually I know he is ok ,after six years with him I am quite clued up to his body language and just know when something is not right.
