It makes me so sad to think of hundreds and hundreds of birds who found themselves in this situation. At least things are improving now for birds and I'm so glad Mr B had a happy ending! Thanks for sharing.

That is a good idea and i shall certainly try it. Just last week while I was filling the kitchen sink to do the dishes Alfie shimmied down the curtains and started to fluff up and shaking her wings while hanging upside down looking at the water! I put a couple of inches in the sink for her and she spent a good 20 minutes sitting on the edge of the sink trying to pluck up the courage to jump in. She didn't get wet yet, but she def looked like she wanted to!! A recording is an excellent idea and I'm going to try it - thanks!

It's so good to hear Java is enjoying her freedom again and bringing comfort to you Dee. It's uncanny tho that she has not made any more Juno sounds. Animals amaze me! x

Lol Dee, yes, I think "Diva" just about covers it! And I think the long neck must have helped with the cookie raid! Jill, she really was in the midst of it all, and I couldn't believe it! When you shared with us your fears about having a tree, we started to put ours up, and I was secure in the knowlege that our scaredy cat wouldn't go anywhere near it! She's been in the tree, on the tree, under the tree....in the decorations box! You name it! I think she must have been reading about brave harvey over my shoulder!
