  9. Karma Written by Penny - Talon Admin Karma Karma is a wonderful way to let other members know that you liked their post. It is shown in the members profile, and appears under your avatar when you post a reply. Karma is the same as giving a compliment. Under the avatar, you will see a thumb up, or a thumb down. If you like the post, you click on the thumb up, and their karma will increase by one, if you click on the thumb down, then it will decrease by one. You are allowed to give one karma every six hours. I certainly would like to see everyone take advantage of this and use your karma daily. We want all members here to feel good about their posts. Thanks to all members, Talon

  11. Hi Resi, If Max is currently being reared in a warmer enviroment than you have at your home, then it is advisable to provide a adequate temperature for him to start with, this need not be extreme heat.Greys are good at adapting to the environment around them, be sure to locate his cage away from any drafts.how is the climate where you live ? Here are a few useful threads that will give you some advice with Max.. http://www.greyforums.net/forums/the-nursery/72855-bringing-home-your-baby-grey.html http://www.greyforums.net/forums/the-nursery/73094-socializing-your-baby-grey.html We have a Welcome room, please pop in & introduce yourself

  16. Amber it is perfectly normal behaviour associated with babies & sometimes older greys continue to do it.It is often believed to be a replica of foraging behaviour of greys in the wild.Ignore her, we fondly like to call it the chicken dance here
  17. Hi fairymyst78 & Welcome to the forum. How exciting waiting for your baby grey to hatch. It will be a long wait, but then you will have a lifetime to share with your grey. A very good point on the wheelchair, once your baby is being reared will you be able to visit on a regular bases ? Introducing your wheelchair from a very young age will allow your baby to accept it as normal,he/she will know no different & take it in his/her stride Look forward to hearing more from you.
  18. Im with Judy, pellets do provide for a greys needs, but imagine eating the same diet day in day out ! Boring, continue to offer a wide variety fruit, veggies, pulses etc...Please have a look around the bird food room ,you will find some useful threads in there
