  5. Hi Kelly Judy is right the only thing you can do is remove him every time & tell him a firm no, perhaps put him on a play stand or return him to his cage for a minute, Repetition & patience is needed here

  8. jjcool you are doing the correct thing, i would say no in a very firm voice & perhaps return him to his cage for a few minutes at a time i personally wouldnt cover him ,if you cover him at night he will be getting a mixed message.Repetion is the key & patience he will in time relize squealing gets him no where stick at it

  10. i have removed the seed guards from my cages as said previously they end up covered in poop & the food goes on the floor anyways

    :ohmy: Are you for real ? Birds should never be punished.Swatting him out of the air is irresponsible behaviour on your part.Your training methods leave a lot to be desired, & as for the vet don't even go there, how can physical punishment be encouraged !!i am gobsmacked that you wanted to share this information with us,no one on here would ever treat their grey in this manner. AS Judy rightly says you dont deserve to own a bird

  16. As Dan said invest in a water bottle.Mine have bowls ;)we are changed around 5/6 times aday as they drop their food in them :unsure:
  17. Thought you guys might like to meet my new puppy He's name is TY, he's 9 weeks old & is a blue staffordshire bull terrier.He has been pretty good, just like having an extra child in the house & has become a mummy's boy Star my boxer dog who is 8 years old has been a sweetheart with him.
