buddys cage

here is my cage

coffee and chocolate salt advacado pears and apples are extremely dangerous to all parrots. mine trys to pinch my tea and coffee hes got no chance of having it ever !!!! best thing to do is squeeze fresh orange juice and give them or something that not concerntrated.buddy loves apple juice but he cant have it cos its concerntrated so he decided to take a like to my flavoured water but he aint having that neither. its called volvic revive here in the uk that has got 1.5g = 2% of sugar in ever 500ml and salt trace of 1% .he likes it but wether he can have it i dont really know .

aww what great news hes been found get the wings clipped as soon as possible and keep him safe and warm

here is mine name is buddy hes 2 and half and he loves the women likes to be near a window on his perch and playstand .

buddy has 1 the top hole is for larger nuts to go in the others round the toy is for smaller ones u can get them in 2 sizes small size one and the larger 1. certainly keeps my grey happy for hours. its part of a play game with him what it does it suppose to stimulate the parrots mind to get the nuts out of it . when its empty just fill it bk up if ur grey is a nut thief leaves shell inside there is screws to open and empty empty nut shell out ofof it. your greys will never get bored

i got buddy a week and 3 days ago and inn his cage they is a toy called pick a monkey nut toy you can get this from www.naturechest.com and go to the medium parrot toys and look for it they come in 2 diff sizes hope it helps for all the monkey nut mad parrots

i have a monkey nut toy in buddy cage u hang it in the cage and fill it with monkey nuts through the holes apparently greys love doin it to get nuts out .

my hubby got bit by buddy putting him in cage he walked away and ignored him .after buddy swore at him.hubby just laughed at him .he walked away cos i told him too please remember some greys like to be higher than u.this is because they like to watch and see what u are doin. if u are higher than the bird he/she will be scared and start shaking . so just go a bit smaller if u are tall and let them see that there is nothing to be afraid of

they say to have alook around the eyes if there is light blue or dark blue u can normally tell what sex it is .

i got mine a week on monday and i leave the tv on but radio stations. he is a very vocabulated grey. with sayings and he does swear (not taught by me )if i go out with hubby i leave radio on the tv for him as he sits on play stand and talks. he dont like getting bk in cage when its time for bed. so we have to bribe him in there. also hes learnt to fly to me and land on my head and shoulders and pinch my drink of apple juie and orange juice hes just begining to do that only started that yesterday .

im new too ,im mandi from lancashire , this is buddy at 2 and half .we bought him last week with cage and playstand he swears his head off and says loads more too. im 32 in wheelchair have hyper mobility syndrome with joints in and out several times a day .
