  1. Just the bird toys will do, Joe, this is a family forum you know. LOL But I gotta love your enthusiasm.
  2. Count me in on that, I could use a little hands on at the moment and the passion would be a nice plus.:kiss:
  3. Yes we do, Penny, and you are so special to us Zooky, for taking in this grey that otherwise would have had his life snuffed out. We will stand by whatever decision you make and I know it will be a difficult one. Keep us informed and we will say a little prayer for you and Mende.
  4. Maybe she will update us on this.
  5. Tracy has a good heart, is very caring about people and I love her wit and humor.
  6. Hello and welcome to the family, Wrestling2091, we are glad you joined. Why don't you give us a little more information about yourself to help us know you better. My first piece of advice is for you to read thru the different threads in the various topics and you will learn a lot. We have covered much territory on greys here, and any of the members will be more than willing to answer specific questions you may have.
  7. I am really scared now.{Feel-bad-0002007F} Send in the guys.
  8. Thanks for that info, Dave, you have such a wealth of helpful information.
  9. I aim to please, especially for you.
  10. Well why don't you read all the posts in all the threads and you will have plenty of information, we have threads in many different topics and I am sure you will find most of what you want to know. Then if you have any specific questions, we would be glad to answer them for you. While you are at it, introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us a little more about yourself and why you decided to get a grey.
  11. I am going to repeat this again. Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us a little more about yourself and your grey, we would appreciate it very much.
  12. Please excuse the rough language in the following story... I would have deleted the words, but the story wouldn't be the same. A young couple got married and went on their honeymoon. When they got back, the bride immediately called her mother. "Well," said her mother, "so how was the honeymoon?" Oh, mama," she replied, "the honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic.." Suddenly she burst out crying. "But, mama, as soon as we returned, Sam started using the most horrible language -- things I'd never heard before! I mean, all these awful 4-letter words! You've got to bring me back home..., "PLEASE MAMA!" "Sarah, Sarah," her mother said, "calm down! You need to stay with your husband and work this out. Now, tell me, what could be so awful? WHAT 4-letter words?" "Please don't make me tell you, mama," wept the laughter, "I'm so embarrassed, they're just too awful! COME GET ME, PLEASE!!" "Darling, baby, you must tell me what has you so upset. Tell your mother these horrible 4-letter words!" Sobbing, the bride said, "Oh, Mama..., he used words like: dust, wash, iron, and cook..." "I'll pick you up in twenty minutes," said the mother.
  13. Thanks for the tip, Barbara, it couldn't hurt and may be even help, wonder what it is about the lemonade that would help.
  14. I'm so sorry, Tari for your loss, I know how you feel, I lost my mother-in-law last year. You have my deepest sympathy, and take whatever time you need. Give my condolences to your husband and take care.
  15. Golly, Tracy, how did we ever do without you here, you are so knowledgeable about a lot of things, I am in awe. I have some of those also and never thought to use them like that, thanks for the idea, karma for you girl, you go girl.
  16. {Feel-good-0002006E} Thanks, Tracy, now I am rolling in the floor again.
  17. Thanks for the laughs Tracy, I have heard these before but I laugh every time I read them. {Feel-good-0002006E}
  18. Take your best shot, dear.:laugh: {Characters-0002005E}
  19. No Laurie, it was not you I was talking about, but I see you like to change your signature a lot also. So does Josh aka RdnkParamedic21, and he does not use quotes but original material he thinks up and some of them are the funniest ones I have ever read. He has a keen sense of humor and I always look forward to seeing what new one he comes up with. But I like yours too Laurie and some of the other members use quotes for their signatures. You are right, a lot of authors will use a quote to set the mood of the book. And yes I would probably read anything that Stephen King wrote even a grocery list, that man is a wonderful writer. Once you start one of his books, you can't put it down until you have finished it. Makes you wonder sometimes how one person has so much imagination, wow.
  20. My mistake, Tracy, I don't know any better, just excuse my ignorance. I don't know everything, and I am the first to admit that, 6 lashes with a wet noodle.:blink:
  21. Small steps is right, a little at a time, don't want to overwhelm him. I like Tracy's idea of offering the millet on your hand, a very good way to get them used to the presence of the hand, and eventually he will get used to it. Glad to hear it is going along well but slowly, keep us informed of the progress.
  22. This is the best news and I am crying too, I am so happy you have him back in your loving hands, and the tears are of joy, hallelulah, Jake is home. See, I knew you would get him back, you just needed to have faith. Now don't let this happen again, figure out some other way to get him his shower without having him loose on the patio. Of course you don't need me preaching to you about this, but thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth.
  23. Does look like a cag to me too. Staggy, why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us a little more about you and your grey.
  24. Let me get this straight, you are trying to lift him off the perch, not getting him to step up, then no wonder he clings to the perch. Josey won't allow me to do that either. You need to get him to step up on your hand that is put in front of him.
