  2. Love these photos, Kristin, your baby is adorable.
  3. I can just feel the guilt thru the internet from you guys. :(
  4. I haven't noticed mine doing that but she occasionally tries to go up my nose, I guess she thinks mine needs digging out.{Communicate-00020115}
  5. This is off topic also, but congrats Tracy for reaching that milestone of 1000+ posts, you go girl. I just love to hear educated people say that having a college degree does not guarantee intelligence for I have said that for a long time. Seems to me we do have several members with both a TAG and CAG, maybe they will let us know if they see any differences in the smarts department.
  6. Let us know if you find some Dan, I need to get some of that juice also.
  7. Well none of my family shares my love for my birds except for my daughter, she loves Sunny but she does not like to hear her scream. The others including my hubby likes them but if it weren't for me they would not be in this house. Not one of them would keep the birds if something happens to me, I have other arrangements for that scenario if it should happen. No one but other bird lovers understand how we feel about our feathered friends and that is why I am so glad I found this place. The people here that I have made friends with truly know how I feel and we share a bond that will last for as long as we live and breathe. I agree Dan, some of your co-workers thought you were crazy, because its just a bird, right!!! If they only knew and understood but then that is what makes us special I think. Thanks Tracy for this topic, it sure brings to mind how all of us here feel about our greys and each other and I am proud to call you one of my best friends and I love all my friends.{Love-000200BF}
  8. This is really fascinating to see, Connie, the differences in the baby are so apparent when you see them in sequence like this. Thanks so much for sharing this story with us, I can't wait to see the next photos.

    Don't be sorry, Joe, its enough to hear a man say a woman is right, I love it.:laugh:
  10. Well thankfully I don't work somewhere where I have to cover them up, so mine are visible all the time unless I wear long pants like in the wintertime, but I understand that in some professions it would be frowned on to have them.
  11. I know it is off topic, but can I have a hug too, I can always use one, can't get enough. You would think with Joe living in Florida that he would have access to more oranges, they grow there for gosh sakes.
  12. This has been fun reading about how you feel so guilty about leaving your little ones when you have to be out. But think of it like this, they probably enjoy some time to themselves like we do, I enjoy some time alone to think and relax and it gives them some time to play with their toys and entertain themselves for a while. Don't feel guilty, you deserve it and so do they.
  13. Josey does the same thing and not sure what the reasons are but it is funny to watch sometimes, not so funny if she has food on her beak and then shakes it all over the place.:blink:
  14. They are very cute, thanks for sharing them with us and thanks to BMustee for posting some of them for us. Karma to you.

    Actually Joe, you should weigh him every day or so.
  16. That is so sad, but maybe some good will come from sharing your story with us, I am sure she is in her mama's arms right now. You started with a sun conure too, so did I and I still have her, she is going on 3 years old. She is a delight to have and I feel the same way about her that you did with yours. Anytime you need some support you just let us know and we will help you all we can, we have all been in your shoes at one time or another and we need each other, it helps to know that you are not alone.
  17. And if you don't come in we will have to come and get you, so make it easy on yourself and come on in.
  18. Don't worry Joe, someone will clean up your mess. Sorry about the oranges, isn't that the way it always happens.
  19. Makena has given you some excellent advice, but it sounds like you have already made your choice. Let us know how it goes, Martin. Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room.
  20. Hello Mary, I too am glad it is Friday, it is what I work all week for, right!!!! So glad to hear you are getting a grey, you won't be disappointed, they are awesome creatures. I also have a conure, a sun conure, my first parrot and I love her to death. I don't know her sex but I call her a she and it seems to fit. You cannot tell the sex of a grey by how they act, a DNA test must be performed to know whether or not you have a female or male. So you are going to hand feed this grey, I hope you have some experience with that, because things could go wrong if you don't know what you are doing. I am not accusing you of anything, just stating a fact, but maybe you have done it before, if so just ignore what I just said. I hope you can get some pictures, we love to look at pictures especially of the babies. You have a good weekend also and we will look forward to hearing from you real soon.
  21. Be careful what you wish for, like Groundhog Day, its Monday every day and you eventually go nuts because you can't get away from Monday again, and again, over and over for eternity. I wish every day could be the weekend.
  22. Joe do you need new glasses? Maybe time for a checkup for your eyes, you reckon?{Emotions-00020070}
  23. 376 posts hardly warrants you as a new guy, and a nobody, please, you are somebody special Joe, don't you forget it. I know I have been slacking in writing in the guest books so I vow to do better.
  24. You got a house full of birds, what kind of conures do you have?
