You are brave to start out first time with a grey, they are unlike other parrots. But it seems to be going well, you just have the right perspective. Yes I see the picture now Ronda, and that is a great buy you got there, it must have been your lucky day, and your baby is very lucky indeed. If you are looking for more toys you can always shop the baby department in stores for toys, most of them are suitable for greys and cheaper.

Many thanks to you for doing this, it is a shame that people treat them that way but with your love and proper nutrition they will certainly flourish. How long ago did you rescue them? We certainly would love to see them, please post a few pictures when you get the chance. Four birds at one time is quite an undertaking but you seem very dedicated to the cause and it is because of people like you that many of these ignored birds get the help they so deserve. You must be some kind of special woman to be able to do that, I don't think I could. We look forward to hearing some stories about these birds especially the greys, but maybe some information about their past and some experiences with them after you rescued them.

I checked out the photos, you have a great looking grey but yes the feathers are a little ragged looking, maybe he is going thru a molt.

Glad you found your bird Clay, and I am happy for you and I can tell you are pleased as well. That is a very large cage and Tank should be very happy in it. I can't wait to see the pictures of Tank.

Congrats on getting a grey and I would let him settle into his cage for a bit then try coaxing him out to let you get acquainted with him. Spend a good amount of time around him, talking to him and letting him get used to you. You may need to allow more time for this adjustment to take place if he is around 3 years old. He is not a malleable baby anymore. It might be a good idea to get him checked out by an avian vet to rule out any physical reason for the plucking but if there was some major change in his previous home that could account for the plucking too. Be sure to keep us updated after you bring him home.

Well Ronda I don't know what is going on but the picture is not there but I am sure you will get it figured out sooner or later. I know you are excited and I am excited with you, I know that feeling of bringing home that first grey, my but you are in for a treat.
