That seems to be the case sometimes, they will dislike men in favor of women or vice versa, but she seems to have taken a real liking to you and I am glad you could take her in. Please read thru the many threads on various topics for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask us any specific questions you may have. We will do our best to get you an answer and help you in any way we can. I look forward to seeing a picture of Radar after he has arrived and gets settled in and I know you are going to love it here just like we all do.

Well Dan that idea of a get together has not been totally scraped but just put on the back burner for now as the one who was behind getting that going is in the middle of a major move right now. But I am sure that sometime this coming year we will hear more about that very idea. But I like the idea of smaller area get togethers, for I think that most of us would not be able to go long distances to meet a lot of the other members. A meeting on a smaller scale would work better for a lot of us, including me. This is something I am sure we will consider in the near future as things settle down and we get back to more normal routines here with the admins and others.

Its good to have you back Beccy, things like this happen so get busy and post.

The onions would not be good for him is the only thing I see that would be bad unless there was a lot of sugar in the dressing, everything else looks fine to me.

I agree with Bruce, Dave007 is our best resource on these types of questions and I would stand by any advice he gives you. I will pm him so he knows this question is posted.

Chris, I am so sorry about your loss of Harley, how devastating to lose a 11 month old grey and my heart goes out to you in your time of grief. More than likely it was something that you had no control over so please do not blame yourself, it may have been some kind of abnormality but the only way to know is to have a necropsy performed. From his photo you shared with us, he was a handsome little fella and I am sure he knew how much you loved him. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that your heart will heal from this loss and perhaps one day you will be able to fill that hole with love for another grey if that is what you want.

I did have a good Christmas and I am looking forward to a wonderful New Year, I think it will be the best one yet for me, hope you and your family have a great New Year also. So you are trying to breed your budgies, I wish you luck and some of our members may be able to help you with that as some are breeders also. You aren't the only member with other birds besides greys, I personally have a sun conure along with my grey, Josey. I second that Laurie, anyone with 4 greys is to be commended and this last one has been a challenge but she is doing very good with getting it to come around, soon it will be the sweetest one she has.
