Congrats David on the arrival of your new grey and yes this is the honeymoon phase of your new relationship so don't be surprised if things don't always go so smoothly in the coming months and years but you are off to a good start. May this be the beginning of a lifetime of happiness for you both and for all of your flock. Erika, you and Carolyn load up some dump trucks with snow and haul it down my way will ya. I am sitting here on a Friday night getting close to 11 pm and it is 60 degrees and is windy:( its too warm to snow. {Feel-bad-0002006A}

Caroline is right;) I would wait to see if something about her personality brings a name to mind and don't feel bad about not naming her yet as we had one menber who waited like 6 months before she named hers.:whistle:

I am from Virginia but I was just in Orlando, FL at Disney World on vacation last week and the weather was very nice and we had a wonderful time. So you are into breeding greys now, is this your first attempt at breeding greys? You will find lots of useful information in our many threads so read thru them at your leisure and do not hesitate to ask any and all questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can. We do have several members who either breed greys or know something about it and they will chime in with advice for you but you might have to ask specific questions first. If you have some pictures of these greys you would like to share with us we would love to see them.

I know Sandra I missed the bird show but I did see 2 macaws upon entering the park, there was so much to do and see that it is not possible to do it all but I had a wonderful time and hope to return again someday. Steve I am glad to hear you had a good time on your vacation and enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing it with us.

Josey is bonded to me and I am really the only one she will step up for and she doesn't much want to interact with anyone else but me. She will take treats from my husband and she doesn't run away from him like she used to when I first brought her home. He is the one who gives her her weekly allowance of cheese, she loves that stuff so much I think she would take it from anyone.

That was a great video, Slater really gets down doesn't he, I especially liked the Stevie Wonder portion, thanks for sharing it with us Caitlin.

I second what Penny said about that woman who claims to be the owner, greys do have great memories and I would think the bird would have remembered her, make her prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Thanks Janet for an excellent idea as I feed the birds outside too and our greys do make a mess don't they and those wild birds would probably be more than happy to finish off what our fids drop and leave, karma for you.
