Gosh Laurie, I didn't know it was a holiday but yes I am well aware that the days are very short as it gets dark very quickly in the evenings, its practically dark by the time I get home from work.

Josey did fine, she went to bed earlier than normal but when the house is dark there is not much else to do, I took a nap too. It was 11 degrees F this morning and windy so the wind chill was below zero, brrrrrrrrrr. gonna be cold tonight too but warming up a little tomorrow.

Well Erika things have changed, no snow but it is getting colder and the wind has picked up considerably, in fact our power just went out about 20 minutes ago, I am on my laptop using up the battery power. I have cookies that need icing and was just about to do that when the power went out, don't know when we will get it back. {Feel-bad-00020072}

Amberly there is another travel cage in that link that is like the one I have and it is less expensive, it collapses down too for storage, it is suitable for short stays, I think it is priced about $50+

Hello Jennifer and welcome to the family, so glad you could finally join us, sure you can read thru the threads by lurking but it is more fun to be able to ask questions and join in on the discussions and make new friends along the way. So is this your first parrot? How old are your young children? We don't recommend you allowing too much interaction with a grey with young children, they are usually too quick moving and too loud for greys to be comfortable around them and they might be bitten and a bite from a grey to a youngster could leave a scar. You have undoubtedly learned a lot from reading the many threads and we do have many knowledgeable members who are more than willing to give you some advice, all you have to do is ask and we will help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of your Tag you would like to share with us we would love to see them.

You will find lots of useful information in our many threads and do ask any and all questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can. I don't know much about breeding greys but we do have some members who do breed greys and maybe they will chime in with some advice for you. I do know that pet greys do not make breeders and breeder greys do not make pets but that is about it. If you have some pictures of George and Maddie you would like to share with us we would love to see them.
