That will be something that maybe Penny can answer but there has been a few problems lately and the tech guys have done some maintenance on the site so maybe she will find out what happened to it, I loved that picture too.
Janet he is adorable even with a frayed tail and you have a handsome big fella there in Sterling Gris and he is settling in very nicely it seems, well you finally have your Cag, it took a while but things fell into place. I look forward to hearing and seeing a lot more of him in the coming weeks, months and years and maybe he will put Ana Grey in her place finally, just kidding as I hope they eventually get along enough to be no problem.
I use some vinyl runner under the cages in the family room but we will be replacing it next year with some type of tile, it catches the poops that Josey will do from her drop down door in the top front of her cage, she likes to sit there and chat, I can clean it up easily.
We had another member that caught a pic of her grey with a feather on her head, a very cute pose for a pretty little girl, thanks for sharing it with us.
Cricket thought that clean cage deserved a clean bird so she took another one to make sure she was good enough for that cage, I can just picture here now fluffing her feathers up getting wet, thanks for sharing that with us Ray.
I have been known to take the seed bowl outside and blow the chaf out and I have had it come back into my face, the one thing I don't do is spit into the wind.
Just like you Jenn I cannot wear nail polish because I don't wear it regularly so if I do use it she will not go near me, I just don't wear it anymore, I do wear it on my toenails as she isn't usually around my feet, I have also noticed she doesn't much care for me to wear white, guess it reminds her of the vet who usually wears it, can't blame her for that.
That was a fascinating video, someone put in a lot of time and talent to make those and you can't put a price on them thats for sure, thanks Barbara for sharing that link with us.
I have one that showed up in my backyard last summer and she is precious, it will take time for them to settle in and feel comfortable but you will enjoy them, now all we need is some pictures so we can admire them.
Is your baby grey weaned? Are you handfeeding him?
Its possible but not very likely this grey is weaned at this age and the breeder should not have sold it unweaned but you have it now, you should get back in touch with the breeder and find out what he was feeding him in the way of pellets and such so you can continue to give him what he is used to.
I doubt he is plucking, he is preening his feathers if you see him running his beak thru them, thats how they get them back into place and unless you see feathers laying around with chewed ends then he is only making himself gorgeous, after all he wants to look his best.
I would give him all he will eat for they do not overeat and he will stop when he is full and they forage and snack all day long so have some food in his bowls at all times.
If your house if comfortable for you then it is fine for your grey.
I love how he says "I'm speeeeeecccccccccial" that is so cute and he is chattering away and not paying any attention to the camera pointed at him, quite a ham really, thanks for sharing that with us.
What a precious little baby grey and the wait is on but it will be here soon enough and then you will have a lifetime to get to know each other, thanks for sharing the pictures with us and keep em coming as we like to see the progress, they change so much from one week to the next at this age.
Welcome back Marcia and Einstein, I just love those videos of him, she is one smart girl and I bet she is the apple of her mommy's eyes, looking forward to hearing more about you and Einstein so be sure to come back and visit more often.
What adorable baby greys and I am assuming those are your youngsters you are handfeeding until they are weaned, just look at that button of a red tail coming out, thanks for sharing that pic with us.
Now how did you manage to get them to line up like that, what are you running Dave, a bootcamp for greys, I guess when Dave speaks grey babies listen!
Marion, I don't know whether this will help you or not but this site has those wooden buckets:
