Hello and Welcome! I, too am in the freezing Northeast! It's snowing here, and ice later on. Sounds like you are doing well with Mojo. I am sure he is glad to have a loving family. Remember to be patient with him, it will take a long time for him to adjust from where he came from, into this new way of life for him. I look forward to seeing some photo's when you can!

Hilary, if you read the FAQ's, you will find very clear instructions on how to post pictures. If you are still having problems, you can pm me, and I will post it for you.

Tari, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know exactly how you feel, as I felt the same about our beloved cat of 23 years. But you did the best you could, and please don't feel selfish for wanting to have as much time as possible.

As admin, I have been watching this thread since it started. I have access to this site, and every post made through out the entire day and night on my Blackberry. I read them all. Dave, You will see that I made a reply in this thread as well. I agree with you, such cruelty whether it be for real, or as a joke, should never have been written here in a forum with members that truly care about all the birds here, and everywhere in the world. Beccy, Our members were only protecting ALL the birds that could be affected by what others reading such things might think. I don't believe that there was anything a moderator or admin could do to steer this thread in a different direction. The members here handled it well, as it was never really made crystal clear that this was a joke right from the start. I for one, am proud of the responses that were written by all the members that posted here. And for the record, Adele asked to have her account removed. That was HER decision and not ours. Penny

EVERYONE, including ADELE. I know you Adele, very well from the other forum. I have watched numerous videos of Manzi. I am ashamed to have welcomed you here like I did, only to have you post the comments that you did. I KNOW you are very active in the other forum still. You have NEVER done anything like this over there. Why come here and do this to the many members that welcomed you here with open arms? I don't understand why you would do this. You have always posted such nice posts before this here and elsewhere. I pray that you made a terrible mistake, and don't ever do anything to hurt that precious bird. Talon loves butternut squash, buttercup, delicata and acorn squash. I mash them for her, and she loves to eat it off the spoon! She will have sweet potatoes today! She's never had them before.
