Kimijean Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 He looks very happy/relaxed. I have a rosie Bourkes that I hand fed named BB for Baby Bird because I didn't know his/her sex. Kim
TWIX Posted April 8, 2012 Author Posted April 8, 2012 What does DJ stand for ? DJ as in "Disc Jockey", he moves & behaves like one
judygram Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 DJ is adorable and looks like he has settled into his new home very nicely, loves head scratches but then they all do that, thanks for sharing the pics with us.
katana600 Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 I noticed the change to the photos in your signature when I was reading another thread. I think of Twix every day and how you were so full of courage to bring DJ home. It took me longer, but I am also blessed with another grey. To see the closeness you have with DJ is such a treat. His feathers are perfect, he is such a handsome boy. Thanks for all the work getting pictures loaded and bringing him to see us.
OzzyCAG Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 DJ is adorable and I love his name. His cage looks just like Ozzy's:)
Doug Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 How old is DJ? (I'm sure you've mentioned this, but my memory is less than effective...)
Doug Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Gotcha. A couple months behind Ellie, so we should see some of the same stuff as we go forward! (I don't remember whether CAG and TAG babies develop differently...)
TWIX Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 I don't know, but i believe there isn't much difference and yes, maybe we should see some of the same stuff. I will follow your footsteps and make DJ a play stand
TWIX Posted April 13, 2012 Author Posted April 13, 2012 Today i have given DJ sometime to play in the bathtub with a thin layer of warm water, so my little daughter was watching and was very excited about it. So she gave DJ some of her bathtub toys to play with, and DJ was extremely happy with the whole new experience. We were all having fun, but unfortunately we haven't taken any videos or photos. So i took some photos after the bath and here are 2 of them: This is him after the bath and still wet and this is him when all dry and happy DJ became really happy after the bath and started whistling and making loads of funny sounds, as if he is completely a different parrot. What a guy...
judygram Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Aw bless him, he feels better after a bath, glad it was a good experience for him, he is a cutie wet or dry.
Luvparrots Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Great pictures of DJ after his bath! He is a cutie!
NutMeg Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Wow he is gorgeous!! Do you mind if I ask what you feed him? He looks so healthy and just beautiful!!!
