  1. I see it Rick! I can also see the squirrel. If they hadn't destroyed so many of my outside bird feeders I'd probably think he was cuter
  2. Hello and welcome! Judygram gave you good advice to which I can add nothing. It takes time for a rehomed adult to trust you. If you have just brought your Timneh home, give it some time
  3. I have all tile and hardwood. I just keep baby wipes at hand and clean up anything that hits the floor.
  4. LOL Now that would be confusing one for the dog!
  5. What a sweetie Crickett is! I love that purring sound too
  6. LOL I know what you mean. I'm sure I have lots of weirdness in addition to being the crazy bird lady!
  7. Oh this is so sad! Too far away to help here in Illinois. Unbelievable.
  8. I really don't have any advice, I haven't moved since I got Timber. I'm responding to kick your post back to the top where someone with more experience will have a better chance of seeing it
  9. Hello and welcome to you and Dorian I have nothing to add to the advice above. Keep us posted!
  10. Now I see them. What a pretty girl! Looking forward to hearing more from you
  11. Hello and welcome to you and Inara I also have a TAG I rehomed about 16 months ago. He has wrapped his talons around my heartstrings. Good luck and God bless! FYI, I don't see the pics.
  12. Thanks! Exciting I must say. I have 3 stepgrandchildren, but this is my first "natural." I'm sitting here wondering if I need to go back over there before I go to bed
  13. He is Jesse Evan. Jesse for my daughter-in-law's father. Evan was my dad's name (also my son's middle name). Life is good!
  14. If anyone noticed I wasn't around for a few days, I've been busy. We have a new grandson, born yesterday morning at 2:48 AM. Here's a pic of him and grandpa (a/k/a hubby).
  15. I am so sorry to hear about your loss! My heart goes out to you.
  16. hmmm... my cats refused to get involved in that kind of party. They only time they "taste" is when Timber manages to nail them from the play stand. That is a favorite game of his. They don't feel it, but are impelled to clean themselves when they notice. Most times, I clean them off, but a few times I've missed the action and they do it themselves.
  17. Sorry to hear you can't take Echo! I hope and pray that things work out with your grandson. Good luck and God bless!
  18. Timber naps at times during the day when I am home. He usually wakes up as soon as there is sound or movement. Occasionally I will see him in "full sleep" position with his head resting on his back during the day. Rare, but I've seen it.
  19. I've heard Timber make a similar noise. No expert, but it sounds normal to me. They vocalize in so many different ways...
  20. LOL Drawing the line on the taste test! As to the original question, it seems color is not an issue, it is conistency that matters. Timber's changes color but looks the same otherwise.
  21. Everybody is looking good! And even better, they look happy
