my grey and senegal have not shown any sexual behavior however my parakeet is a nympho. he humps a little ropes that his coconut dish hangs on daily and many times.

if luna gets really loud and on my nerves ill throw some ice cubes in her water bowl. keeps her occupied and reboots what ever is going on in her little bird head.

we rehomed a orange wing Zon who was a bastard. he acted just like your grey. he would not step up and would bite piss out of you and would not stop he would tear into your hand like a hawk into a rabbit. I still have scars from him and that was 4 years ago. the only way we could move him around is to dangle a towel in front of him and let him climb on. that bird would bite hard, even through heavy leather gloves it felt like hulk hogan had a pair of pliers squeezing your finger. i finally just gave up trying, we were not in "his" flock and he had no intention of interacting with us.

Forget the biting that is minor. What im shocked over is you taking your parrot out not teathered. Did you not think he would fly away? And if he did the chances of you getting him back is pretty much xero. Not to mention your bird dying because he cant find food or wster or s predator getting him. Im sorry but what you did was dumb.

Nbody is home during the day so my cag stays in her cage. At night idont let her out until I know everybody i s home and done going in and out of the house.

no dont wash it off. just spray the bird do nothing else.

I wonder if he is picking up on your illness. Maybe your meds are making you smell different or taste different that is making your bird react.

No. My grey waste so much fresh food its not funny. The best way i have found to ensure she is getting a balanced diet is making bird bread using baby food for the moisture.

yes it was. she held on to my finger for a while while i stroked her beak. the side of her beak was still soft and kinda rippled like supple leather.

yea im working on that. going from big treats down to small.

its not much but it is my first successful trick i have trained her on. she pretty much bobs her head every-time i ask her "do you want it" I am giving her a human grade peanut. Costco baby $4 bucks for like a 5 pound bag of unsalted. :cool:
