I spoke to him earlier, he's found the bird twice, and both times got scared off when the attempt to get back was happening. Its been 2 days. Lost in the SW 304th and 172nd Ct area. I dont have any advice like everyone else, but I hope you get through this without hubby wanting to have a "grey stew" anyime soon. Its sad because the bird is trying to protect you, but us humans dont see it that way sometimes. I can understand hubby, because I can put myself in his shoes, all he sees is the bird trying to bite your finger off. hope this all works out for you. If not, and hubby puts his foot down and makes you get rid of chris, you can consider Eshana as a foster parent because she loves greys and live close to you too . . .

Our greys are complex wild animals, remember that everything is new to him now, and hes surely missing his old family. Im so glad you got your new bird. I traveled far away also for my grey so I know what you mean. . . I guess the best way is to just give him his space and alot of time.
