  1. hey welcome here, we had sort of the same problem as you, we had Georgia for about a day and a half we let her out about 4 in the affternoon and she went in at 6 , and then gone 10 at night she was at the bottom of the cage making like scratching noises with her feet and i said to my BF she wants to come out and we made the mistake getting her out at 10, she didnt go back in till 3am we tried to give her treats but obviously she had eaten all day so she wasnt intrested now we have got her in a routine where she she comes out every affternoon and whilst shes out i take her food pot out, when shes out for about 2-4 hours i top her food up with treats and what she likes, she flys back on top of the cage and then she goes back inside.

Me and my BF got 2 hamsters today both females, and ive called mine Jessie shes about 6-12 weeks old and hes called his Lou Lou were not to sure of her age but shes older, i always wanted one when i was younger, and randomly we got 2 today haha, just abit of a downside about there lifespan apart from that they seem fun lol just wondering has anyone owned one, and whats your experiences ? Mine wont stop going on his wheel, and my BF one seems to play with the wheel by getting on top of it lol. i havent took any photos there to fast at the moment lol. so now we have 2 cats,3 birds and 2 hamsters living with us, i think thats enough lol

  11. that picture shocked me! ive never seen a african grey like that before she looks tiny! i hope she gets better, and goes to a really nice loving home, where she gets loads of attention and care, and anything and everything she wants i feel sorry for her, hope she gets better! xxxx

  13. i love that film haha, saw it at the cinema and got the DVD, its proper bloody, gory,creepy and violent lol Posting on here, watching Jamie Oliver on tv, and about to watch the Simpsons with BF and Georgia back in her cage.

  16. oh right, i heard a noise from the bell this morning but i couldn't see cause he was covered up - could of knocked it with her tail i guess lol im guessing Georgia may be like Phenix then and take a while for her to go on it, ill be so happy when she does, cause i was in such a rush to get her one lol
  17. We did take the toy with the key on back to the petshop cause i was curious about it, but she said its safe and that its part of the toy.

Good choice i think that cage is great, its nice and great size, i hope it comes it to you well! let us know how it goes, and about your new grey when you get he/she "before my head blew up" hahah, sorry to hear that it can be stressfull cause your not sure what to and things like that, and it can also be difficult when you have got so much choice lol hope you enjoy your cage and new grey, also keep us updated
  19. Im so sorry for your loss, must of been terrible! i agree with Jingles have a look on google see if theres any breeders to near where you live.
  20. yeah it looks like he has been scraping his beak on something hard, or the cage bars maybe.
  21. yeah if they know that there not realy sure what to do, and are worried about doing it wrong, they should leave it for the experts and try to do it themselfes. ive always known feathers to grow back.
